I rarely see the GSM mentioned main stream anymore. Of course we do have our informed folks that keep us informed. I saw something online about there being snow in the saharia desert in saudi this morning.

What about all the predictions of food shortage when the grocery store shelves are still full, the empty spots are from people prepping and maybe not shortages.

It is inevitable. I so wished that someone levelheaded and wise could take us through this period, but we get jo and the ho.
I read on TB somewhere that food prices had risen 50% already. Set to go up like a rocketship from there, IMHO. We will see nations start wars just to take arable land and food.

We have few friends and of those we have, most will work first to save themselves. Just the way it is. Have preps and be able to defend preps from two footed predators, weather, insects, you know the drill. Weather doesn't care about war and politics. We get to care about weather, war, and politics.

I did mention in the OP that we have folks on TB that keep US informed, not so much elsewhere. I'm aware of iceagefarmer and not all the impressed with him.

What I mean by getting hit with the GSM is all the fall out from what will go on. Bad crops, bad weather swings, food shortages that he would have to deal with. What ever they want to call it. There have been dire predictions.

Who all is in the line of secession?

A thought came to me, one of those what if's.

Scenario is that Bidum, and most of those in the line of secession are taken out. The radical right are blamed and there is a hunt for those responsible, of course they are quickly I.D.ed. Unfortunately they die during an attempt to arrest them.
Up rises a successor to the position of POTUS who promises great change, decrying the crimes of his predecessor that he will make right. Price for the evils of the past have been paid, and all in the nation are pleased.

Unfortunately, he is the one that will hand off the country to the global government. He was the ringer, waiting for the plan to play out.

Possible or not, beats running around waving my hands over my head! After all, we have been moving to that globalist end of America for a very, very long time.

Biden won't get "bit." Mass famine is the currency Commies deal in. Everyone starves, and they sweep away the assets.

Most likely the whole global re-set and Covid release were carefully timed to match up with it. At the very least, a highly convenient coincidence.

Any GSM famine in the US will be manmade. We feed the world. We could lose over half our agricultural capacity and still feed our people. The famine wont be natural. How will BIden or far more likely his successors deal with it? Continue to try to feed the world. Turn food into a weapon in this country. Read "Execution by Hunger" While I don't see it as being quite so brutal the idea is the same.

They have been caught repeatedly with lying and making stuff up, the people that rely government grants will put out what the corrupt government wants or the money stops.
Try doing a search on Climategate thats one example.

A heck of a lot less than in the continental US!

If you are referring to Cuba in a backhanded reference to Socialism, they've had several decades to adapt and adjust. If the US heads down the same path, the survivors- in 50 years- MAY be as well off as the Cubans are at the moment.

(see those interesting old cars being pulled by a horse in harness? Well, good luck in finding harness, a work collar, or a horse trained to pull. Fancy "fine harness" horses at the shows don't count!)

In the meantime, our soft, badly out of shape and VERY badly spoiled American young folks will either learn how to work, or will starve. It won't be pretty.

I highly recommend “Suspicious Observers” site, also on youtuber. He offers daily solar and space observations.I love the science. He has done a tremendous work creating a body of knowledge combining geology, earth sciences, solar physic, and astrophysics.
