Dem Rep. Cohen: January 6 U.S. Capitol Incident as Bad as Pearl Harbor Attack
Pam Key2-3 minutes 4/7/2021

Representative Steve Cohen (D-TN) Wednesday on CNN’s “Cuomo Prime Time” likened the January 6 Capitol Hill riot to the 1941 Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor.

Cohen said, “We just celebrated Passover. On Passover, Jewish people are instructed over two centuries to remember 2,000 years, over 2,000 years, to remember that we were in bondage, and we escaped. Remember that day, and to teach people about it. January 6th is a day like that. It’s a day that should be remembered in America because our democracy was at stake. It was under attack as much as Pearl Harbor was an attack on our country, for people to suggest that it wasn’t that big of a deal. It was just some folks who were demonstrating and protesting. Most of the people were good people, fine citizens going up to protest, malarkey. This was an attack on the United States Constitution. They wanted to upset the Electoral College and make Donald Trump the president, to eliminate people who stood in his way, which included his vice president and the speaker of the House. They wanted to intimidate the Congress.”

He added, “What Donald Trump said on that day, you won’t have a country if you don’t go up there and fight, fight hard. When he said you won’t have a country, he was saying the Blacks, the Jews, the minorities, the gays, they’ll be in charge and you, the white, straight, Evangelicals here with me today, your country will not be yours. You will not have a country. He was telling them to go take your country back from the Blacks, the Jews, the gays, the different people that they do not like. And that was a call from Trump, and it was racist as could be. And he was involved, in my opinion, with all these folks, Roger Stone was, the whole team was, they were trying to take over. He doesn’t give up. He didn’t want to give up power. He liked being president.”

Just when you think the dems couldn't get any more stupid, up pops Rep. Cohen with his Jan. 6 BS. Yeah, Trump did say we might not have a country but what he meant was, if the dems steal the election, which they did.

Then to put words into Trump's mouth saying it was because blacks, other minorities, plus the 72 genders would be in control. Oh my, how cleverly the dems put words in the mouths of others so we don't look at the real guilty ones -- the demo-rats.

Wow, we really need to start teaching history again.
They're teaching Marxist history...each generation is progressively becoming more Communist.

A 'Great Reset' of education is underway, and next week I'm breaking it all down. But tonight, it's crucial to catch up on what I exposed last August: Leaked documents prove our kids' schools are already turning into BRAINWASHING centers for radical Marxists.

Oh, please spare me! They are clutching the pearls so hard. Trying to make 1/6/21 a date that shall live in infamy like 12/7, 11/22, and 9/11 all rolled into one.

It was memorable, but please give me a break on the drama...
Sadly, there aren't too many of the younger generation who were taught actual history. There are a whole bunch of Karen's and SJW that will believe his nonsense. Many of younger generation don't even get 9-11.

It's like there's some contest that we don't know about where they've dared each other to see who can say the dumbest and most outlandish thing they can think of.

I swear half the nation is insane or worse.

Two different people see the following fact.......

1) A person is arrested, fights the police and then is forced into a vehicle.

Person 1 says that the suspect was arrested.
Person 2 says that the suspect was beaten and abused by police.

What is wrong with people.

A real student of history he is. Or...he’s playing to the history idiots graduating from our schools. Clearly a despicable person. It is disturbing there are so darn many just like him in positions of influence. Come Lord Jesus!

If it was a coup, it was one of the most disorganized and non-sensical in history.

Of course, it wasn't a Pearl Harbor or an insurrection it was a public march/protest that got out of hand and a crowd with no obvious focus. Allowing another planned destination with speakers and music at the end would have solved a lot of problems but the organizers either couldn't do this or more likely were not allowed to do so.

9/11 now THAT was a Pearl Harbor moment but as others have pointed out we now have a generation of young adults that can't even remember it because they either were not even born yet or were tiny children when it occurred.

They don't remember the terror that the US really WAS under attack (from someone, no one was sure where at first) and I remember breaking a knitting needle when the second tower came down. I was knitting a nursing shawl for a baby who is now almost 20 years old, which also help me understand why the current crop of young people can't remember this - they weren't there yet.

The Democrats and others who are going along with this line of mumbo-jumbo are likely to regret it later when they may face real issues and real attacks and don't recognize them fast enough being too distracted with their own agenda.

Those people, AOC, Cohen & all their ilk are full of $hit. If there had been a real insurrection, at the end of the day, all of them would have been hanging from trees, light posts, overpasses, tall buildings, etc. Did not happen, because there was no insurrection !!

The twits in DC all consider themselves to be above royalty, and see themselves as privileged superiors to us "little people " !!

Sooner or later, they will do what the Japs did, they will " awaken a sleeping giant, and fill it with a terrible resolve !!! "

When that day comes, they will truly experience fear !!!

He "represents" the 9th district in Tennessee, covers Memphis and is heavily black. When he ran for governor he didn't break 5% of the vote. The guy is 71 and a professional politician, starting in local county politics in 1978.

Cacheman

Ultra MAGA!
WOW!! We almost saw the Viking guy overthrow the US Government without guns or military help and install himself as dictator and impose a "martial state"?

The thing that actually terrifies them is they now realize how many Americans truly despise and detest them and they're scared sh!tless of that revalation.

If that’s how he describes the “assault on the Capitol”, how does he describe what BLM and Antifa did to Oregon and Minnesota? Must be like the great Deluge or something. I see that no mention of the rioting of last summer came to the front. Jan 6 is more comparable to the Boston Tea Party than Pearl Harbor. Of course hyperbole is their forte. Why would I expect them to be reasonable adults. Silly me.

That moron is in his 70's and old enough to actually have been taught a little history. There is absolutely no way the acts on the Jan. 6th, 2021 even compare to Pearl Harbor! Pearl Harbor... 2,403 Americans were killed. The fake riot at the Capital...maybe 5 and one of those was killed by BLM leftist on his side.

BTW...this Cohan moron was the one that scarfed down a bucket of KFC to mock AG Barr for failing to show up. Get it? Chicken because Barr was chicken. Too bad it wasn't Kentucky Fried Pork for Jewish guy.

And what will they say/do when their BLM/Antifa skanky buddies let loose on them? Imagine that all over the country or in DC. But that's why they just allocated themselves another billion for their own "security."

JUST IN - House passes bill to fund $1.9 billion for "additional security measures" at the U.S. Capitol.
View: https://twitter.com/disclosetv/status/1395415678321037318

1.9 BILLION dollars for security upgrades at the capitol? That's a lot of pork for what is, in actuality, a fairly small area of land and buildings.
Bet most of it will be used in overtime and hiring new gestapo troops for the building. And spent on those cops so they can create another Ashlii Babbitt murder and PR their way out of responsibility.
The fences are still around the building; this money ensures that they will never come down.
