One expects Cuba is rejecting ANYONE who jumps the fence seeking a fly ball and succeeds, and views them as "another useless mouth to maintain." Which they may well be. In general and hallmark of a socialist/communist society, those of value are "feted" like a winning left handed pitcher. And these winners would be unlikely to leave for a bat boy position in the US.

The title including the word 'immigrants' leads one to think that these illegal, international felons were attempting to gain citizenship by lawfully and legally entering the country and following the legal procedures to gain said citizenship, and then boom! then were somehow deported.

Not the case. They entered the US illegally, that does not make them immigrants. It makes them federal felons. too bad, so sad they were deported. They caused the problem by illegally crossing the border. Doesn't make any difference if they used a boat or walked, they still crossed the border illegally.

They didn't ask for my ID, and I didn't offer it.

I was at a friend's place, we were cleaning up for a party.
The FIB guys knocked on the apartment door (I didn't ask how they bypassed the lock on the  main door to the building).

I answered, and let my friend know that he had some visitors.

I had just slid the latest issue of High Times magazine under the sofa, after putting the bong away behind bro's nightstand.

There were never any charges, just much misunderstanding about a missing record collection. PM me if you really want the entire soap opera.

I love the "stranded without passports" part.
They didn't use passport to get here, so of course they don't have passports.

Stupid should hurt. I think this is hilarious. I hope the press covers their misery so intensely that more illegals will self deport before getting a "free flight to the dark continent".

FYI, when they arrive here, for example, over the Rio Grande, if they have their passport, it is confiscated. I presume the deported ones are proven bad guys. Russia, BTW is doing the same thing to Cubans who arrive there, lured by scam offers of nonexistent jobs.

DD has an incredibly diverse taste in music, and requested a turntable last Christmas.
Once she opened the gift, I went down to the basement and brought up the crate full.

I believe that is correct. The US position for YEARS was that those who "escape" the island nation deserve a reprieve - and the possibility of a new life in the US. This sort of a then "poke in the eye" to the "Russian Satellite Nation" that Cuba had become under Castro.

Obama though is a Marxist through and through. And set the US into a policy of "returning" Cuban ex-patriots supposedly "In the interest of improved cooperation between the two nations." Obama's Cuba policy was pictured similarly to the Chinese national policy where we'll "bring them forward into Democracy" through (apparently) our national success - which can be theirs if they follow our model.

Neither China nor Cuba did. And Obama took his comfort in doing his part to support the Cuban Marxist Regime.

Hence why muslim country's under Sharia cut off limbs.....it really works, most of the time.
