Veg Cow Horn Okra

I just got the seeds I ordered for Cow Horn Okra. Have any of you grown it? This will be my first time trying it. Just from what I've seen on YouTube it's a more compact bush rather than the tall stalks of regular okra I'm used to. I let you all know how this works out.

I started some this year too. It's still inside under the lights, but doing well. It won't go out until about Mother's Day, though.

My parents grew it but I was just a kid. I did not pay any attention to it. But I know they later switched to Clemson spineless. I grow Heavy Hitter okra.

It was a cool spring, so my plants got a late start, and so far I am not pleased. When the pods get any size on them, not even close to the ones in the videos, they are too tough and woody to eat.
