CORONA Covid Vaccine Rant

I am slow on the uptake but I finally realized in my 79 years I had never had any sort of influenza. In high school 50% of the school was out with the Asian flu and I did not get it. My late dh always got whatever variety of crud was going round and I never got it. I never got a flu shot until the covid vaccine. Guess what I got -- right -- Covid.

I only got the vaccine so I could visit my mother and after I was vaccinated her residence was under lockdown, so I did not get to go visit. She passed away a year ago at age 100 without my visiting. And no, I am not getting any covid boosters or any annual flu shots this year or any other year.

Actually, at your age, 6 weeks or so recovery time from COVID is pretty normal...even those who don't have severe symptoms really get hammered by whatever it does inside. I think I'm younger than you (64), and I'm only now getting my energy back from the bout of COVID I had in May! I'm so sorry about the situation with your mother... therecareca whole bunch of politicians and bureaucrats who should be swinging from gibbets for what their stupid, worthless rules did to families.
