Food Costco beef in cryovac package

I have some shelf stable shredded beef in cryovac package from Costco. It is fully cooked. Nearing expiration date.

The package contains several servings and I would like to freeze part of it once I open the package. Is there any reason it would not be safe to freeze ? Thanks.

freezing should be fine, I would freeze it

I agree. I’d put up servings sized (for you) portions in Foodsaver bags, vac them down and freeze. Should stay for a good long while. I thought of getting some of that myself.
