Coming To You As You Drive Around

As I drive around in urban areas of late, I have mentally prepared myself for this type of scenario – Have you? What would you do?

With more and more Soros supported and funded DA’s do you think twice now about fighting back? I bet you a year ago you would not have to think twice about defending family and possessions but not today.
Remember, as you come up to a red traffic light and you are not the first in queue make sure you can see the rear wheels of the vehicle in front of you. This allows you to go around the vehicle in front of you if necessary. Also, remember that your vehicle is a weapon of sorts and can be replaced. Do not stop even if you must plow through a vehicle stopping your escape. Pedal to the metal.

I would be Kyle Rittenhouse II.

(except of course it would be a pistol) And yeah have thought much about it. No hands up for me. When he pulled his piece, he would go down.

Castle doctrine in MS extends to car. First call would be to 911, perp down send ambo. 2nd call to USCCA.

In Florida, our Governor is proposing a comprehensive law to be voted on by the new legislature.
It would be legal for drivers who had their car surrounded by protestor trying to assault them to drive through them and the drivers would not be liable for injuries and death, because it would be self defense.
The new proposed law would charge people participating in so called "protests" where rioting, looting and arson is happening with felonies.
Also charging people funding or supplying such protest under the RICO act.
Unfortunately this kind of thing is only possible is conservative run states and cities.

In the first place, if I'm approaching an area with all that trash, I would try to avoid it.
Back away, make U-turn, whatever has to be done to avoid it. Get the hell of of Dodge.

If I'm all of a sudden surrounded with this trash, use speed, either in reverse or forward
and knock the pins over.

If everything goes south and I run out of magazines, I didn't plan very well.

I'm really surprised that a group of shooters hasn't declared open season on these scumbags.

I'm with you, Milkweed Host. My first line of defense is prevention: turn around or don't go there in the first place.

My second line of defense is shopping mornings on a weekday that is not the first, second, or third of the month, when many EBT cards are loaded. I also don't fill the cart. I'll go to several stores instead.

Knock loudly on wood, I haven't seen any large groups in parking lots or around town that would have me reaching for a weapon, just one or two individuals here and there. The latest pair was being quizzed by a police officer (Ankeny -- middle of a Thursday afternoon). They had been walking down the middle of Delaware Ave, a major road in the Ankeny shopping district. They were walking! Not trying to cross. That got called in fairly quickly (per local police scanner group).

I'm glad to heard about how the Ankeny PD handled that situation.
There are a great many cities that have professional police (Peace) departments.
To name a few on that list (Iowa), would be: Waverly, Waukee, Altoona and Ankeny.
I've watched Ankeny grow from a very small spot on the map to much larger beautiful city.
A lot of these towns have become beautiful homes to people that are sick of the larger city rat race.
They have spent the money to keep it that way. I'm convinced that these cities are more
selective on who will carry a badge and gun. Their peace officers are more polished. (People skills)

Better than ours. The Brunswick Police pay about $16.50 per hour for police officers to start. You can make more at Walmart working in the auto section.

And we wonder why we get these shootings.....corruption..... and everything else.....

WOW...I was making that when I left the Dept of Corrections in 2007. Unfortunately, I had been there for 11 years at that time. I went to a county jail and made $51K my first year.

"WAS THE DRIVER OF THE WHITE SEDAN AT FAULT?

Maybe foolish for being there and a little slow in putting the car in drive and reverse and a little ignorant of the meaning of floorboard it, but not at fault.

I could write a book on how to improve our current police, but don't think there would be any
interest.

I've seen lots of issues develop in police work over the years. Pay, talking, fighting and drug testing would
be at the forefront.

Some agencies pay poorly, which limits interest.

I'm noticed over the years that many officers just can't talk. Their verbal skills are very limited.
there's a old saying that when the talking stops, the fighting starts.

Then there is fighting. Many people have never been in a street fight. In the early 1990's, I asked a
city officer, how many fights he'd been growing up. His response was none. However this officer
did have great verbal skills. I think that when an officer knows who to handle themselves, hands, feet or using
whatever they can pull from their surroundings, they have more confidence in themselves. The suspect can
sense if someone is competent and will react accordingly. If the officer is working outside of his/her comfort
zone and they become scared, their options are limited. I don't make any claims, but almost anything around
us can be used as a weapon. I've used a kitchen chair on a women with a butcher knife. As she was raising the
knife, I threw my baton on the kitchen floor and grabbed a kitchen chair. I could see the puzzled look on her
face. She was like, what the hell are you doing? I nailed her with the chair as she raised the knife was over her head.
I did worry about where the butcher knife was landing after she dropped it. It worked out okay. I've kicked and pushed
living room furniture in front of suspects trying to runaway. I've used a squad car door to knock a kid off a bike. Again a
knife situation. Sometimes, use of force goes sideways. I used a house door on a suspect one night in a domestic arrest.
That caused two broken arm bones on my chief deputy.

Drug testing should be done like with CDL drivers.

Anyway, back on topic here. Always try and avoid conflict. If you are waist deep in excrement, plan is getting yourself
out of it and don't expect much help from the police and be very careful in your wording when talking to them. The police
look at everyone as a suspect and they are trying to put a case together.

Well I'm very close to ground zero for some of this. The obvious choice is to stay away from the affected areas. Normally I know where they are, or can predict them in advance. If they ever got too close, the solution is like other responses to this thread-you use your vehicle to counter attack, then get the hell out of there. There really isn't any other choice. The MSM says they throw rocks and swing bats, but they also have guns that we're not being told about.

I think the average Prius drivers, are the ones that would pull a stunt like that.
As well as stalking TimeBomb2000, I also like to look ay Moto Madness on YouTube. It's a channel which features motorcyclists generally getting cut off by cars, running into cars which shouldn't be there (and quite a bit of the bike doing the wrong thing, too!). It seems that EVERY British or European vid where a car driver is in the wrong, it's ALWAYS an Audi driver!

That may be sarcasm, and I get that. However if you don't call 911 for an ambo, any legal actions will knit their eyes at you, thinking you intended to kill the person, instead of protecting yourself. Even USCCA directs you to do that. And I suspect they would think the same thing, and think twice about representing you.

Even Kyle called 911 for his first victim.

Lubbock held a HUGE Trump truck rally yesterday that had over 10,000 vehicles (they said there’s no water in West Texas but there’s plenty of trucks). My daughter was driving home from work and had to cross their procession. She said she just had to give a thumbs up and they opened up a spot for her to pass through.

It was a good teaching moment to tell her that even though West Texas is conservative, you just never know what you might roll up on. She said she keeps her doors locked and keeps space between her and the car in front.

Thank you for successfully proving what I already knew: that motorcycles do not belong on public roads, where the infinitely more essential 4+ wheeled vehicles operate.
