WAR Citibank says it will “not support candidates who do not respect the rule of law” and will “pause contributions" to the GOP members who objected

Neither here nor there.
"we" have been letting them take our money for a long time and do whatever "they" want with it.

And it will continue to be this way and indefinitely because most americans, as planned, are struggling to keep the lights on and food on the table, and are therefore too damned busy to do anything about it.

_______________
From my Fourth Turning thread (now bumped):

During each of these previous Third Turnings, Americans felt like they were drifting toward a cataclysm.

And, as it turned out, they were.

The 1760s were followed by the American Revolution, the 1850s by Civil War, the 1920s by the Great Depression and World War II. All these Unraveling eras were followed by bone-jarring Crises so monumental that, by their end, American society emerged in a wholly new form.

Each time, the change came with scant warning. As late as December 1773, November 1859, and October 1929, the American people had no idea how close it was. Then sudden sparks (the Boston Tea Party, John Brown’s raid and execution, Black Tuesday) transformed the public mood, swiftly and permanently.

Please clarify---

was Citibank talking about its OWN money

Or its DEPOSITOR'S money?

IOW---is this bank now claiming they have the right to tell their depositors what they can spend their own money on?
Several of the Credit Card Companies won't allow the purchase of contraband (as they define it- boom booms, etc.) using their credit cards. I had it happen to me last year. This is going to get nastier.

You know that old saying about frogs....

After the last 2 decades of them turning it up a notch at a time

... they' just went up to one step below afterburners

Chinese bio-weapon - destroyed booming economy, put most everybody on house arrest ... bankrupting large grouips of people

Press - 95% propaganda arm for them, almost no honest news left

Election- perpetuate fraud in broad view ... and the system ignores it as do 1/2 the voters

Communications (Social Media, etc.)- great purge of all dissidents ... then terminate the alternatives

Next up????

Citibank will not contribute to political campaigns it doesn't like...nor will it allow campaign accounts to be set-up for Political causes they don't agree with.

we seem to have overlooked the Original Post for this discussion thread

Have fun with citibank...
We have two of citibank's credit cards
They send us..mailings often..blah, ,,blah..they go in file 13
They are an anti gun bank
We charge some little tiny charge on each card 2 or 3 times a year..about $2.00 each time
It keeps the accounts open and costs them more that they receive in revenue from our accounts...just think if millions Patriots. .did that

Fine....all conservatives stop paying on their citibank credit cards. With a little less than half the country identifying as conservative that would leave a mark.

So let's do an accounting of how many politicians have taken money from China and see how they feel about their policy then.

UPDATE:
@Citibank
says it will “not support candidates who do not respect the rule of law” and will “pause contributions" to the GOP members who objected.

Restraint of trade violation - i.e. violation of the RICO act? Citibank as a Federally Licensed banking entity is probably required (was) to be considered a "common carrier" of financial product. Like taxicabs, bus lines, electrical distribution, medical service, each in their own medium of exchange.

Now all one needs is to find a judge who will support this claim.

Har, har. Horselaugh. Sometimes I mirth myself.

More frequently these days I'm afraid.
