'Chilling': Kamala Harris outlines schemes to give Democrats control in U.S. forever

Kamala Harris was a huge failure in the 2024 presidential election.

Her tenure as vice president under Joe Biden wasn't a lot better, with her end-result of no improvement on the border as "border czar" amid other results.

But she brazenly has announced her ideas that would embed Democrat Party power in the nation likely forever.

On video, she announces a discussion to have where there are no "bad ideas."

Like her agenda to pack the Supreme Court with Democrat ideologues so that Democrat agenda points win every dispute.

Then to take and keep control of the Senate, she would push for leftist enclaves of D.C. and Puerto Rico to be states.

And she would throw about the Constitution's Electoral College so that every state, eventually, would have to support the nominee for president chosen by huge leftist population centers on the coasts.

A report at the Gateway Pundit said her "radical plans" "should terrify every American."

Her comments came during a Win With Black Woman call, where she also incinerated the Supreme Court for saying that southern states are allowed to get rid of congressional districts based on racism.

She demanded it is "time for us to fight."

And a "fight" to her "is one so chilling that it would likely bring about the end of the Republic," the report said.

The report said, "Harris begins by endorsing expanding the Supreme Court to ensure a far-left majority controlled by the likes of Sonia Sotomayor and Ketanji Brown Jackson. Then she calls for granting statehood to Washington, DC, and Puerto Rico. This means four new Democratic senators, making it far more difficult for Republicans ever to win it back. Finally, Harris strongly insinuates that the Electoral College must be abolished. This provides even more incentive for Democrats to manufacture enough votes to steal even more elections."

Sorry, Kamala: ‘No bad ideas’ is a uniquely bad idea

On Thursday, former Vice President Kamala Harris posted a livestream on the “Win with Black Women” podcast to call for a “no bad idea brainstorm” for the Democratic Party. She used that pretense to “throw out there” the idea that Democrats should make radical constitutional and political changes as soon as they retake power.

That includes packing the Supreme Court, admitting Puerto Rico and D.C. as states and killing the Electoral College.

All of these items have been previously raised by liberal professors and pundits as a way to circumvent small-D democratic processes in order to guarantee power for the big-D Democrats for years to come.

It was a telling rationalization. The Democratic Party has become a party of moral and political relativism, embodied in the popular “by any means necessary” mantra used by many on the left today.

But there are bad ideas, just as there are bad people who want to win at any cost.

For some, Harris herself showed the existence of truly bad ideas by accepting the position as Biden’s Border Czar as roughly ten million people poured into the country. Another bad idea was her selection of Tim Walz as a running mate before his series of rake-steps.

Indeed, her sudden surprise nomination was a bad idea, one that cost $1.5 billion in just 15 weeks and led to one of her party’s most crushing losses in decades.

The worst idea, however, is to celebrate our 250th anniversary by destroying the very institutions and values that created the most successful and stable democracy in history.

In my book “Rage and the Republic,” I discuss lawyers and law professors who rationalize the trashing of the Constitution and our institutions to achieve their political goals. I debated one Harvard law professor who rattled off a list of Democratic proposals for our system, but then added that the left would need first to take control of the Supreme Court. It was an acknowledgment that the court would likely declare some or all of the proposals unconstitutional.

I previously wrote about the rise of “the new Jacobins” — influential figures who are seeking to dismantle our system after facing judicial and political setbacks. Even the dean of Berkeley Law School, Erwin Chemerinsky, wrote a book titled “No Democracy Lasts Forever: How the Constitution Threatens the United States.”

Now, leading Democrats such as House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-N.Y.) have declared the Supreme Court “illegitimate” and called for a “massive” overhaul of both state and federal courts to make them submit to Democrats’ demands. This was Jeffries’ reaction to the Virginia Supreme Court’s rejection of Democrats’ effort to wipe out Republican representation in Virginia.

He is not the only one adding bad ideas to Harris’s wish list. Various politicians and pundits called for the sacking and packing of the Virginia Supreme Court. By lowering the mandatory age for retirement to 54, they would simply force out all of the current justices and replace them with rubber-stamp liberal appointees.

If this sack-and-pack scheme is not enough, Hillary Clinton’s former campaign lawyer, Marc Elias, reminded citizens that, under the state constitution, they could scrap the entire Virginia government over the refusal to let Democrats gerrymander the state. (Elias is infamous for his role in the secret funding of the Steele Dossier to launch the debunked Russian collusion scandal).

It did not matter that even a justice appointed by former Democratic governor Mark Warner found the move unconstitutional, or that Democratic figures like Gov. Abigail Spanberger believed that it could be overturned.

The X posting was only the latest effort to throw out some “bad ideas” to an increasingly radical movement on the left.

When I and others flagged Elias’s posting as alarming, he criticized me for taking him to task for merely quoting the state Constitution. It was typical of the “Who, me?” response of establishment figures when confronted for pandering to the most radical political elements in the Democratic Party.

It is like responding to an adverse World Trade Organization trade ruling by invoking Congress’s power to declare war. It is a rather extreme reaction.

Yet, it is all part of the effort to normalize extreme measures and condition American voters to fundamentally changing our system. Harris calls it her “expanded playbook.”

Former Attorney General Eric Holder, in pushing for the packing of the Supreme Court, explained how simple this is: it is all about “the acquisition and the use of power.”

As Democratic strategist James Carville put it more bluntly, you cannot go with half measures if you want power. You just have to say “f–k it … just do it.”

Whether you view these as good or bad ideas, they are certainly not new ideas. These are the same voices that have plagued our system for generations; the siren calls for unleashing forms of direct democracy and removing moderating influences in our system.

The Framers sought to create a system that would avoid the pattern of earlier democracies becoming tyrannies, including Athens. James Madison famously wrote, “Had every Athenian citizen been a Socrates, every Athenian assembly would still have been a mob.”

The Framers rejected more direct democratic systems to blunt the impulses and passions that destroyed other systems. They wanted to avoid democracy becoming what Benjamin Rush called a “mobocracy.”

The American Constitution was a rejection of the “bad ideas” that politicians (called demagogues in Ancient Greece) have historically used to marshal the power of the mob.

They did not want an “expanded playbook” designed to secure and retain power for one party. We were the first true Enlightenment Revolution based on the protections of rights derived not from the government but from God.

Now that was a good idea.

Kamala Harris accuses Republicans of ‘red-state cheating’

Fox News chief congressional correspondent Chad Pergram reports on Democrats pushing a ‘radical reform rush’ agenda, including Supreme Court reform and statehood for Washington, D.C., and Puerto Rico, on 'America’s Newsroom.'
Former Vice President Kamala Harris faced swift Republican backlash after calling on Democrats to consider expanding the Supreme Court and gutting the Electoral College the next time they are in power.

"Let’s invite ideas, for example, that are about Supreme Court reform, including the notion of expanding the court," Harris said on a call with the left-wing nonprofit Emerge. "Let’s invite a discussion about how do we push for statehood for Puerto Rico and D.C.; how are we thinking about the Electoral College."

"We've got to neutralize this red state cheating," she continued. "There's a brutality at play on the other side, and a ruthlessness. And we need to play to win."

Harris’ plea for "bold" reforms came after Democrats suffered two major setbacks in the redistricting wars, as both parties scramble to draw new congressional seats ahead of November's midterm elections.

In late April, the Supreme Court moved to curb the use of race in the drawing of electoral districts, effectively gutting Black-majority districts held by Democrats across the South. Democrats were dealt another blow at the Virginia Supreme Court earlier in May when a Democratic-friendly gerrymander was struck down over a procedural concern.

"What they have done with this decision, by saying that the politics of redistricting is okay, is they are back-dooring racism through politics," Harris also said on the call. "What they are doing is intentionally about trying to suppress the voice of the people."

The 2024 presidential candidate’s ideas drew a sharp rebuke from House Speaker Mike Johnson, R-La., who accused Democrats of being "institutional arsonists."

"It's a dangerous thing, a dangerous gambit," the speaker said. "You don't just blow up the system when you lose."

"For the former vice president of the United States and a candidate for president to suggest that you should pack the Supreme Court or destroy these institutions because they lost is I just think outrageous," he added.

Conservative Rep. Ralph Norman, R-S.C., also criticized Harris’ comments, calling them "totally insane" in an interview with Fox News.

"That's why we can't let her become president," he said. "People … rejected her before; they'll reject her again."

Not all Democrats are in agreement with Harris.

"I think that's putting the cart before the horse," Rep. Jason Crow, D-Colo., told Fox News. "Right now I'm focusing on lowering costs, health care, ending a runaway war that's costing Americans tens of billions of dollars. Those are the things that my constituents are talking to me about."

Harris’ calls for Democratic retaliation come as Republicans are emerging as the clear winners in the redistricting battle ahead of the midterms. The GOP could pick up more than a dozen seats after a bevy of GOP-led states have drawn new congressional maps while Democratic gains have so far been limited to California and Utah.

Earlier in May, Tennessee carved up its lone Black-majority district, represented for decades by a white Democrat, allowing Republicans to pick up a seat that had long eluded them.

Louisiana and South Carolina are conducting similar efforts to erase several Democratic-held seats following the Supreme Court’s ruling.

House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries, D-N.Y., has vowed to respond with his own gerrymander push in a swath of blue and purple states, including New York, New Jersey, Colorado and Oregon. But those states are not likely to move forward with new maps until 2028, making it a moot point ahead of November.

They already started the republic on a slow death spiral. Trump only managed to slow it. We might be able to turn it around, but that would require us to actually come together as a population to change the country’s direction and long term goals.

I agree.

Judging by how our own governments (fed/state/local) cannot cooperate with each other tells the whole picture in a nutshell.

I rate the public servants as irresponsible, reckless, and unprofessional. In my books, I rate them as an F because of this.

Failure in all regards to the Constitution and the American people.

Trump has held the tides back some, but the gaping holes are still letting the demise through. A majority of it is insanely radical.

We the people shouldn't be having our Constitutional rights be threatened, the politicians and judges are letting it happen as oath breakers.

Until the majority of Americans start fighting back, will we start seeing change. Fighting back doesn't necessarily mean bullets flying, in theory say if 1/2 or more of Americans (including businesses) quit paying their taxes for as little as one year, I believe that is all that is needed for them to realize they FAFO'd. Remember, as long as the cash flow keeping coming, they will continue to trample on our rights. Less money = Less government.

There might be a problem with doing this, because it might affect the military which could potentially make us weaker to protect our borders. That is what the 2nd Amendment is for, outside of large scale nukes that foreign adversaries may plan on using. Then again, the government has all of the options already on the table with all the money we've given them throughout the years.

Surprised someone hasn't used AI to determine this yet. If the governments got cut off from half the funding from the people not paying taxes, what would that do to not only the government but also defense.

This country is still spiritually rotting from the action and beliefs of people like her for the last 60 years.

Something needs to be done about that, for that’s the fundamental structure upon which our nation stands or falls.

Not enough people have been exposed, denounced, imprisoned, and executed for the grave and perverse crimes committed in our name - that massive injustice needs immediate correction.

The ideology of the left and many on the right needs to be purged like the cancer that it is.

Education, justice, entertainment, politics, medicine, religion, the home, etc. all rotten and twisted because of this damnedable philosophy/ideology that’s been crammed down our throats for almost a century now.

Someday, people will have to volunteer.

Not that I want that, but war is not pretty.

Opfor called the field with Charlie Kirk - and our President on multiple occasions.

It won't be easy, or morally comfortable, but the time to step up is soon.

I'm lucky in such a scenario, I'm in a target-poor zone.
My AO hasn't been infiltrated yet.

Yet...

Its obvious heels up harris didn't think of this herself. Someone coached her long enough for her to understand the fine points of this 'plan' so she could spill it while attempting to sound like she has some form of higher brain function.

She's the mouthpiece for this drivel. We need to find out who the planners are and expose them.

It's easy to be a writer when you're not an actor, yes.

A writer can say anything, I can bray like a donkey in springtime. And I do!

An actor has a different mission.

1. Say nothing.
2. Pick something valuable.
3. Research the valuable thing, but leave no digital or genetic footprint.
4. Apply action to the valuable thing to remove it from the equation. Ensure anonymity (no brass) and have multiple avenues of egress. Also see above regarding genetic footprint.
One drop of sweat says you were there...
5. If you're playing the game with friends, leave your phone on the kitchen table while you chat in the back yard.

Did I cover everything?

Don't answer that...

This is interesting, but ultimately irrelevant. Demographics are destiny and with all the illegals that came in that are now breeding "American Citizens", in a decade the country will be blue anyway.

Yeah … Obama has been spreading himself globally since Trumps second term. He’s helping moving their future plans forward. The funny thing is there’s nothing intelligent about Kamala Cackalot. She’s easily controlled.

They just keep sticking crap in her mouth that attracts their crowd. They’re preparing an army. Have been for some time.

You know, I didn't think it was polite to share your wet dreams in such gory detail. For the Dems to even GET elected, they need an actual platform and plausible plans to achieve those items before they get enough votes to win. Yeah, I know there is still a contingent of deluded, brainwashed idjits who will continue to support their crap until they finally buy a clue.
