Chief Justice John Roberts says he does not want to preside over a second sham Senate impeachment hearing against President Donald Trump.

Democrats want to impeach President Trump after he leaves office which has never happened in US history.

Democrats are desperate in their attempts at destroying President Trump. They want payback for him exposing their corruption and failures for four years.

"Chief Justice John Roberts is eager to avoid presiding over Donald Trump’s second impeachment trial – after he became a lightning rod during the first one.

Just as the Senate is seeking to ascertain how it might proceed with an impeachment trial without blowing up the start of Joe Biden’s term, the Supreme Court could face its own business being rearranged.

The Constitution states that ‘When the President of the United States is tried the Chief Justice shall preside.’

But with the Senate having been in recess since the House voted to impeach, the trial will occur when Trump is no longer in office – potentially giving Roberts an out."

For the record… Harvard law professor Alan Dershowitz insists Democrats cannot impeach President Trump saying you can’t impeach an official who is no longer in office.

Why would he resign? He is making good money doing what the left wants him to do. It's all good for him. Big deal on the Trump impeachment.

This fool just keeps proving he does not honor his oath to the constitution, the constitution requires that the chief justice MUST preside over the impeachment of the president.

There are also legal problems with them trying to impeach AFTER he is out of office.

But hey, neither Roberts or the demon-crats have shown any feudality to the Constitution yet, guess it's to be expected now.

Regardless of Roberts' feelz, the wording of the Constitution is plain. Perhaps he could abort the whole thing by declaring it a moot point. Maybe he grew a pair or his handlers have already told him to do whatever he wanted on this one because they didn't care anymore what happened to Trump (I know this isn't likely because they're going to hound him to the grave).

Roberts' desire to avoid presiding again does have a certain logic. I surely wouldn't want my name associated with shitshow #2 after seeing what a feebly-constructed travesty of a shitshow #1 was.

Let me play devil’s woo-vocate for a moment.

It’s clear that were Roberts to preside, he’d have to dismiss it as moot. So, he declines to preside. The senate, now led by Schumer, selects a presiding officer, probably Harris. Since neither Harris nor the Marxists care about the constitution, where do you think that trial would go?

And having gone there, you can be certain that the Roberts SC would never hear a case.
