MSM Can't believe it...I'm watching/reading from RT News.

I don't really look at any MSM, including Faux News. InfoWars and Breitbart don't cut it for me either. ZH is, well, a click bait, ad infested, doomer porn, useful as a dick on a dead guy POS. So I started thinking, what's out there that I haven't hit before..... RT. Mostly because I was interested in the Ukey thing to see their take on it. I like it. Already have seen some stories their just not showing here, beating up on Biden is the best thing, the Sniffer In Chief.

OAN? Nah, never caught my attention (except Chanel Rion .... hubba, hubba). NewsMax wasn't that impressive either.

We have great newsy's here but every now and then I feel the need to do some work myself and not be such a loafer. :D

I'll have to get off my online butt and post a story or two. Did ya see the vid of the GTR yut that got body slammed by his 'victim' and started crying like the useless, shaved ape, POS that he is? FUNNY.

Nice too that they carry live broadcast, not the greatest on satellite but not bad. At least when the Uke's are getting their asses handed to them I can watch with my popcorn. I love a good war flick - find 'The Train', very good.

That is all, carry on Comrades!!! Oh crap, it's starting already. :D

Used to watch RT when we could get it here. No way of confirming, of course, but I viewed it being about as much propaganda as ABC-CBS-NBC-Fox-CNN, etc, etc.

RT is literally financed and operated directly by the Kremlin. It’s industrial strength Putin propaganda.

Yes, but they sometimes run real stories the Western Media won't, so they are very good for some things but always understand the bias.

It is similar to Al Jezera, they are based in the Middle East and Muslim-owned but also want to be a general news network. A few years ago there was a terrible Earthquake in Chile that I got an alert on but could find absolutely nothing on the internet or the regular Western TV channels at all.

Al Jezera had it on right away, complete with phone calls to people in the area that still had reception, videos streaming within 30 minutes, and all-around good reporting on that topic.

Of course, Western media has biases too, but a lot of the time these days they don't simply slant stories, they simply fail to report them at all.

So if one has the time, looking at foreign outlets can be useful as long as you take certain topics with a grain of salt - Al-Jezera had no opinion other than to report the news about an Earthquake in South America, but I'd take any reporting they did about Israel with their agenda in mind - ditto RT.

You're right; one just has to peruse the websites from other countries and understand a bit about their point of view, because POV is pretty much the basis of everything which we filter.

But there's good info out there; one just can't swallow it wholesale, just like the western media (most particularly the lazy, elitist and entitled slobs in the US media).

RT had live embedded military coverage when Russian forces "intervened" in Georgia.

Russia is not shy when they are promoting their agenda. I'll bet they have coverage in Ukraine if things go sideways.

Ikinda doubt we will get any decent coverage from our domestic MSM.

I mainly use Breitbart and RT as sources.

RT picks up a lot of domestic US stories that aren't seen elsewhere.

Their international stuff usually has a very obvious spin, I ignore it and pick out the important content.

That’s was supposed to be one of the main responsibilities of the MSM as they have freedom of press guaranteed...

They were supposed to be (I know, I know!) Honorable enough to report the events sans obvious human bias or agenda.

Yet, their sacred calling was surrendered as carelessly as an animal does its virginity or dignity.

Matter of fact, it seems as though, far from feeling any shame at their betrayal, they express shock that anyone would find their dishonesty offensive.
