PREP Can Opener Tip

I'm left handed, never had any problems keeping a can opener working condition.

Must be buying the high end kitchenaid, but I have wrecked a number of can openers and not really trying to do that.
Wife did not understand why I alway wanted to buy the more expensive models and she sees why now.
One feller I met after I moved into the area, we were talking and somehow he said his wife is left handed and I joked about can openers and he looked at me and yes we buy a lot of can openers thinking their all cheep crap so I explained he laughed and learned something new and buy the Kitchenaid opener if you can find one or get someone to order it.

Growing up I was taught to fish from a young age and learned to use a spinning reel and all that was available were right hand spinning reels so I cast left handed then switch over to the other hand and reel it in like a right hand person would and I'm so use to doing it that way I cannot use a left hand spinning reel. Now they make all spinning reels that can be switched over from one side of the reel to the other very quickly. Being left handed and using scissors is not easy for me.

When we lived on a rural island, we used a large sharp pointed knife to insert in the can top all the way around…..it works just fine.
