Here’s the latest.​


A high-stakes primary night in California ended with two candidates neck and neck in the race for governor, and with a besieged incumbent mayor forced into a runoff that could pit her against a Republican reality TV star in deeply liberal Los Angeles.

Mayor Karen Bass held a significant lead in Tuesday’s primary, but she is the first sitting mayor since 2005 to fail to earn the 50 percent of votes required to avoid a runoff. Although it is possible that the third-place candidate, the progressive City Council member Nithya Raman, could still secure a spot in the November runoff, the performance of Spencer Pratt, the Republican, suggested that Los Angeles voters harbored frustrations with homelessness and their city’s other problems.

In primary contests elsewhere in the country, Republican voters dealt a surprising defeat to President Trump, narrowly rejecting the candidate he supported to run for governor of Iowa, and a progressive won in a crowded Democratic field for a New Jersey congressional district.
The highest-profile primary was for California governor, even if voters found many of the candidates uninspiring.
By early Wednesday morning, Steve Hilton, a Trump-backed Republican, and Xavier Becerra, a former lawmaker and Biden administration official, were leading in the race to compete in the November general election. California’s ballot counting process is known to be slower than other states’, and because many Democrats were holding on to their ballots until the last minute, the results were still in flux.
Election officials in California said that counting would continue throughout Wednesday.
Here’s what else we’re covering:
  • Candidates concede: The early results in the California governor’s race were enough to compel two lower-performing Democrats, the former Los Angeles mayor Antonio Villaraigosa and Mayor Matt Mahan of San Jose, to concede shortly after the first results were posted. Katie Porter, who was in a distant fifth place, conceded later.
  • Iowa Democrats: In the Democratic primary for Senate, Josh Turek, a Paralympic gold medalist who was backed by a group allied with Senator Chuck Schumer, the minority leader, coasted to victory over a progressive state senator who campaigned against the party establishment.
  • House races: Voters also chose finalists for 52 congressional seats — the most of any state — in races that could offer clues in the battle for control of Congress. See results from key races.

I agree about the waste of time, especially since by law things are rigged so that the top two winners of the primary, even if both are from the same party, are the ones that go into the fall election. But DH (who votes opposite of me) insists that I vote.

God please let us have a choice of Republican vs Democrat for governor.

Breaking: California Election: Steve Hilton just lost the lead due to late mail-in ballot drops. However, there is a crazy $90.1 million grant from the Election Assistance Commission (EAC) to the California Secretary of State that runs all the way until—wait for it—2099. Yes, you read that right. It runs until 2099. The description on the grant is super vague.

They’re going to keep ‘finding’ and ‘counting’ ballots until Steve Hilton is pushed into 3rd place you’ll see.

That $90.1 million EAC grant running until 2099 isn’t a coincidence.

Don't forget the testimony of postal workers who said they backdated mail in ballots on orders of higher ups. So, dems figure how many they need to win, send fake mail in ballots late, post office backdates.

To date as far as I know, no one is in jail for this...

I've been watching this Cali race pretty close. I do believe that that these clowns are playing checkers and the Trump admin is playing chess. I hope and pray that the fbi doj and others let the Cali game go on to it's conclusion and then pick up the bad actors and end the whole sale election fraud happening before our very eyes.
That's why I keep saying these people are not being voted in they are being installed. I hope this Cali race is the case that bust it wide open.

Congress MUST immediately open an investigation under Article IV, Section 4 of Constitution.

Newsome is on record saying they WILL get the results they want.

For all this talk of voter disenfranchisement from the left, they don't seem to have a problem disenfranchising voters in their own district to get what they want.

Hilton is a shill, a RINO. He will lose to Becerra. I’m so ticked off. My son who has lived in Boise for 11 years is moving back with his family, but now we might move to N Arizona. I’ve watched California be destroyed for nearly 60 years and I don’t know if I can keep pushing. I’ve about given up hope.

Gavin Newsom just signed a law ensuring his rigged elections won’t be audited or protecting illegals going to polling stations to vote

He signed Senate Bill 73

- Prohibits law enforcement and armed personnel from guarding polling places
- Makes it illegal for law enforcement agencies to seize ballots from election offices
- Requires law enforcement to obtain a warrant before taking lists of registered voters or voting machines (Democrats control the courts, so that won’t ever be issued)

Let me break this down for you for what it really means

- ICE at polling places would deter illegals from going to vote
- Democrats don’t want law enforcement to take ballots and investigate fraud
- Electronic voting machines are rigging elections for Democrats so Newsom is making it illegal to check their records

People ask why the CA vote-counting process takes so long.
@Elex_Michaelson of @CNN (DNC Mouthpiece) explains it clearly here. But the short answer is the state values participation plus thorough scrutiny of ballots over speed.

Sean Davis: No, the short answer is that the Democrat machine needs to know how many votes to manufacture after the initial count (on election night), and then needs a long enough period of time in which to manufacture them.

A 24,000 vote was dropped and not a single vote was for Spencer Pratt.

No voter ID.
Ballots sent in the mail to every registered voter in the state (living and dead, and moved out of state).
No chain of custody.

That's not a voting system, it's a fraud system.

The system itself is the fraud: it's designed to be opaque and unverifiable.

How can we even pretend California elections are real when they could be mailing out 10 million+ extra fake ballots “California has among the WORST laws for securing elections in the entire nation — I will lay out the facts for one of the worst governors in America to understand:

- California doesn’t require voters to show photo ID before casting a ballot

– despite nearly 90% of Americans supporting photo ID laws.

- California uses universal mail-in-balloting, which we know is extremely vulnerable to fraud and abuse.

- In the 2024 election alone, California mailed nearly 10 million mail-in ballots that were never returned.

- The bipartisan Carter-Baker Commission in 2005 found: “'absentee ballots remain the largest source of potential voter fraud' and 'vote by mail is . . . likely to increase the risks of fraud.'"

- San Francisco even allows non-citizens to vote in local elections, which creates a high risk of fraud in federal elections.

- California reported 2,178,551 duplicate registrations in the 2024 election cycle – 15.6% of total registered voters – and 7 counties completely failed to provide data on duplicate registrations. And just to remind everyone how this ties into law changed in California by Democrats

- In 2016-2018 laws like the Voter’s Choice Act expanded vote-by-mail - In 2020 Democrats passed permanent universal mail-in ballots, every registered voter gets a ballot mailed automatically

- They made ballot harvesting with 3rd parties collecting and delivering ballots legalized. AB 1921 removed limits on who could return ballots and how many

- Democrats then installed widespread unsecured and unmonitored ballot drop boxes We need a federal audit of California
