GOV/MIL Biden admin abolishes Title IX as we knew it

Neither here nor there.
Well, there is but not enough people have the balls to break away from the fedgov. Unfortunately.

I'll say it again, said it yesterday in another thread... your average american hasn't a clue as to what the hell is happening gov't wise, most are just trying to survive day to day and just want to chill in the evening watching some netflix or hulu. We here at TBK are the outliers.

They don't have the means to enforce this, the logistics don't exist for it. All they have is fear, and they shot their wad on that strategy with Covid. They HOPE to stake out some ground to hold on to, but I don't see it working. They just don't have enough carrots or sticks.

Starving people will comply.

Why do you think 'they' have been destroying the food supply for the past 3-4 years?

True, and I do both. (surviving and has a clue)
It's tiring and 'they' know it. Sometimes you just have to step away and enjoy the moments in life.

The guy that burned himself alive lost hope. Don't lose hope.

Hold fast to the God who created all things. He's going to handle business in His time. (Romans 12:19, Deuteronomy 32:35, Psalm 94:1)

I know what they are trying. They do not the have the logistical capability to follow through. Too many people to wrangle across too large a space. Sure, they're trying it, I agree 100%. It's going to fail, but it will kill and change a lot of people's lives forever.

That's one thing that angers me a lot about the actions they are attempting - the carnage will be definite and horrible, all for nothing.

I maintain that they are flailing about, trying on every plan they have, hoping something works. Still people tell them to f off, too tired and wary to be scared of their bullshit.

I like the way you think, but you -and most of us- don’t think like most “Americans“ . The Culture has been transformed exactly as The chocolate messiah claimed it would be.

this is the essence of what I see happening :

To me it means that satan appears to have achieved a great Destructive victory over God’s Plan for mankind: the obvious intentional purpose of “sexual identity” of man and woman is to serve His Purpose to Create families to bring children into this world with men being responsible for providing safety, shelter, and leadership for the family, and women being responsible for providing nurturing, nourishment, and love for the family. Now, anyone who objects to the “new plan” will be punished and pushed out of the way:

exiled from the “community of mankind”, chased down and imprisoned or “thrown to the lions”, made an example of until all mankind either obeys the clinically insane or hides out in the catacombs.

The President has no authority to sign any treaty until it is approved by the Senate...and his signature prior to approval does nothing to validate it.
Until and unless every democrat is removed from office for treason, I don’t expect enough of a pushback from the Senate to matter . The infiltration of our government - and culture - is now obvious and complete.

I'll ignore such an edict, will you not?
I will, and did, when the covid pandemic was hot and heavy. That's not to say we didn't do common sense stuff, like stay away from people. We didn't get the shot, and we didn't apply for a paper compliance.

And I'm not saying anyone will hold you down and stamp a tatoo brand in your forehead. I'm saying you won't have a say at the Conference in Swiss. in May. And that the conference decisions MAY happen, not WILL happen, even though the likelihood is good.

And if it does happen and becomes law (so to speak) then we (those who won't comply) need to be ready NOW for a much harder life, as in 1800's living. Barter. things like that. The ease, comfort, and conveyance we enjoy now will be gone.

Even as women's competition protection through Title IX is gone.

No body thought that would happen either.

Just as a thought don't compare guesses about how many will comply. Think about how many will comply based on how many complied during covid. And how many will comply when the pressure is on to buy stuff. Hold a job. Need medical attention. Food for the children. The number will go up as the pressure builds.

Am not being ugly to you, but consider what you would do if you needed a QR code to work. To access your money in the bank. To get a prescription filled.

If this thing really becomes real and goes into effect, it is the start of going hard life.

The President has no authority to sign any treaty until it is approved by the Senate...and his signature prior to approval does nothing to validate it.
The United States Constitution provides that the president "shall have Power, by and with the Advice and Consent of the Senate, to make Treaties, provided two-thirds of the Senators present concur" (Article II, section 2). Treaties are binding agreements between nations and become part of international law. Treaties to which the United States is a party also have the force of federal legislation, forming part of what the Constitution calls ''the supreme Law of the Land.''

The Senate does not ratify treaties. Following consideration by the Committee on Foreign Relations, the Senate either approves or rejects a resolution of ratification. If the resolution passes, then ratification takes place when the instruments of ratification are formally exchanged between the United States and the foreign power(s).

The Senate has considered and approved for ratification all but a small number of treaties negotiated by the president and his representatives. In some cases, when Senate leadership believed a treaty lacked sufficient support for approval, the Senate simply did not vote on the treaty and it was eventually withdrawn by the president. Since pending treaties are not required to be resubmitted at the beginning of each new Congress, they may remain under consideration by the Senate Foreign Relations Committee for an extended period of time.

In recent decades, presidents have frequently entered the United States into international agreements without the advice and consent of the Senate. These are called "executive agreements." Though not brought before the Senate for approval, executive agreements are still binding on the parties under international law.

Should also note that the Senate is Dem controlled.

During my teaching career I had several young ladies earn full ride athletic scholarships. All great students and went on to good lives. One was even a colleague.

This is the end of women's athletic scholarships. And it makes me angry and sad.
PJ, my daughter was one of those young ladies. She took AP and dual enrollment classes in high which qualified her for a free in state tuition and a stipend each semester. She also got a “full ride” scholarship at the top university in the state. NCAA took away the stipend which still burns my biscuits, but… so essentially the state paid for tuition and the college scholarship paid for books, meal plan and rooming.

She hit the scene and is one of the few that had the sense to take advantage of a state program and Title IX..they say timing is everything and it did play a large part in her success, but so did her talent. She is extraordinary talented and still is involved heavily in her sport, as a coach on many levels.

It hurts to think about girls having to complete against boys in sports and thereby losing the education benefit and experience fair competition in a sport they love and worked so hard for that opportunity…notice that I said opportunity not right…you still should have to earn it.

Take Covid as an obvious example. All of the above was tried to various levels of success. A LOT of people actually didn't comply, and a lot of people who did now say they will not be fooled again. I think this sort of thing we're discussing will create even greater friction and resistance, as Covid taught lessons that TPTB didn't intend.

Do I think the government will say "Do this or we'll cancel you"? Certainly. I think a lot more people will pointedly disagree than you think.

But international law and treaties do not overide the constitution ..technically.
This issue points out that civil liberties are one thing and civil rights are just gov created privlidges that can be taken at whim.

Note:

Now, one thing people need to understand is these amendments aren't going to come back to the United States Congress for President Biden to sign them, or for the Congress to pass them through Congress. That's not going to happen because the National Defense Authorization Act already passed through Congress. December 23, 2022, President Biden signed it and the words read, "Whatever the World Health Assembly adopts, we already approve it."8 That's what it said. So, the only way for us to bypass what is being proposed is for us to simply get out of the World Health Organization.

It's a rather long read, but will also note that when I looked that up a little while ago, the newsletter is from 2023, and when it was broadcast yesterday I assumed it was for May 2024. My bad.

So don't know if these amendments were passed LAST YEAR or not. And may have been hair on fire bunch of much ado about nothing. My bad Sorry.

However the ability to do them is still on the table.

O and BTW don't act like the Constitution means anything, it doesn't. Anymore.

When you chose to buy a Ford or a GMC or a Toyota, you get the whole package from that manufacturer. The majority of the people of America chose a "liberal" God-less culture and the whole package they bought was made in hell. As the reality of the components of that package begin to hit home, there will be some who seek another manufacturer and most who blame others for their choices.

The Biden Admin has just officially abolished Title IX as we knew it. Now, sex = gender identity.

In a nutshell, the new rewrite means:

- men can take academic AND athletic scholarships from women
- men will have FULL access to bathrooms, locker rooms, etc
- men could be housed in dorm rooms with women
- students and faculty MUST compel their speech by requiring the use of preferred pronouns

If the guidelines above are ignored or even questioned, then YOU can be charged with harassment.

SO glad my kids are OUT of public school.

Today, the Biden admin is releasing regulations more powerful than most real legislation. His Title IX changes:

- Redefine sex in civil rights law to include gender identity, exposing girls and women across the country to men in their bathrooms, sports teams, and locker rooms

- Reinstate Obama-era kangaroo court rules for men accused of sexual assault on college campuses that completely flout due process and make mere accusation the standard that can ruin young men’s lives

- Encourage universities to unconstitutionally curtail protected speech in the name of subjective offense and “harassment”; empower schools to enforce rules like punishing children for using biologically incorrect pronouns

- Curtail parents’ rights to know what schools are doing with their own children with regard to “gender transition”

Each one of these changes itself would be a five-alarm fire, and in many cases represent unconstitutional curtailment of established rights, rights federal courts have consistently upheld. These changes will be challenged in court. But it’s a good reminder of the enormous power of bureaucracy to massively change American law and curtail all of our rights overnight.

So.
April 19 DID prove to be a day of disaster, once again.

I know several women who got a college education because of an athletic scholarship. Interestingly they were more interested in school than sports, however, they knew it was their ticket out of the trailer park, and a most certain bleak future if they didn't take the scholarships.

This move saddens me, and also proves how much liberals hate women.

Technically though...it doesnt matter what he signed, if it is unconstitutional its moot...but we know how that goes.

Bidet and the Dims care nothing about laws. They do what they want, knowing they can't be stopped until it is taken through the courts. This will take a year or more.

Title IX Rules: 6 More States Sue Biden Admin Over "Radical And Illegal" Changes

BY TYLER DURDEN
WEDNESDAY, MAY 01, 2024 - 06:25 PM
Authored by Katabella Roberts via The Epoch Times,
A group of six Republican state attorneys general filed a lawsuit against the Biden administration’s Department of Education on Tuesday over what they said were “radical and illegal” changes to Title IX rules.

The lawsuit, led by Kentucky Attorney General Russell Coleman and Tennessee Attorney General Jonathan Skrmetti, was filed in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Kentucky.

In their legal filing, the GOP attorneys general argued that the department overstepped its authority when rolling out new updates to Title IX rules that expanded protections to students by incorporating gender identity into the legal text.

They further claimed the changes to the rules override state laws and will harm Tennessee students, families, and schools. The attorneys general called on the court to pause and overturn the newly expanded policy.

“The U.S. Department of Education has no authority to let boys into girls’ locker rooms,” Mr. Skrmetti said in a statement.

“In the decades since its adoption, Title IX has been universally understood to protect the privacy and safety of women in private spaces like locker rooms and bathrooms. Federal bureaucrats have no power to rewrite laws passed by the people’s elected representatives, and I expect the courts will put a stop to this unconstitutional power grab.”

Mr. Coleman, meanwhile argued the new changes to Title IX rules would “rip away 50 years of Title IX’s protections for women and put entire generations of young girls at risk.”

“As Attorney General, it is my duty to protect the people of Kentucky. As a Dad, it is my duty to protect my daughters,” Mr. Coleman said. “Today, I do both.”

Biden Admin Unveils Changes to Rules

The Kentucky attorney general added that his office is joining the lawsuit to “lead this fight for our daughters, granddaughters, nieces, and all the women of our Commonwealth.”

Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972 is a longstanding policy designed to protect people from discrimination based on sex in schools.

Specifically, the protections prohibit sex-based discrimination in any school or any other education program that receives funding, either directly or indirectly, from the federal government.

However, the Department of Education last week rolled out newly updated Title IX rules that include expanded protections for LGBTQ students for the first time.

Under the updated rules, the prohibition against discrimination based on “sex” has been updated to include a prohibition against discrimination “based on sex stereotypes, sex-related characteristics (including intersex traits), pregnancy or related conditions, sexual orientation, and gender identity.”

The new rules also dictate that any K-12 school or institution of higher education that receives any federal funding may not separate or treat individuals differently based on sex “in a manner that subjects that person to more than de minimis harm,” which Republicans say will lead to shared bathrooms, locker rooms and more.

It does, however, clarify that such separations are allowed “in the context of sex-separate living facilities and sex-separate athletic teams.”

The rules also state that all “non-confidential” school employees are required to notify a Title IX coordinator if they learn of any violations.

According to the Biden administration, the new regulations are set to take effect on Aug. 1.

‘Radical, Illegal Attempt to Rewrite the Statute’

In a statement announcing the newly updated rules, U.S. Secretary of Education Miguel Cardona said they “build on the legacy of Title IX by clarifying that all our nation’s students can access schools that are safe, welcoming, and respect their rights.”

“The final regulations promote educational equity and opportunity for students across the country as well as accountability and fairness while empowering and supporting students and families,” the department said.

However, the attorneys general of Kentucky and Tennessee claim the new rules could put schools at risk of losing federal education funding, including access to free and reduced lunch programs and Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) grants if they fail to abide by them.

The new rules would also require K-12 schools, colleges, and universities to “allow males identifying as females access to women’s sports, bathrooms and locker rooms,” they said.

“Under this radical and illegal attempt to rewrite the statute, if a man enters a woman’s locker room and a woman complains that makes her uncomfortable, the woman will be subject to investigation and penalties for violating the man’s civil rights,” Mr. Skrmetti said.
“Federal bureaucrats have no power to rewrite laws passed by the people’s elected representatives, and I expect the courts will put a stop to this unconstitutional power grab.”
The attorneys general of Indiana, Ohio, West Virginia, and Virginia have also joined the lawsuit with Tennessee and Kentucky.

It marks the latest lawsuit against the new Title IX changes after Republican attorneys general from nine states including Alabama and Louisiana filed similar legal challenges against the newly updated protections on Monday.

The Texas attorney general also has filed a lawsuit against the expanded rules, calling them “unlawful” and claiming they mandate schools comply with a “radical gender ideology.”

Because even during covid shut down, as you remember, you had to have a card that stated not only that you had had your shots, but were/or necessary work to be out and about.
Nope...no card, no shot, no permission to be out and about. Ignored the door nazis and went about my business. Workplace tried that crap, too. They didn't have a legal leg to stand on and backed down.

Only if you blatantly refuse will we have any chance to win.
