ALERT Beware of addresses listed on Pinterest

Yesterday, while looking through recipes on Pinterest, I clicked on an web address to get the recipe for Chocolate Eclair Cake. It took me to a website that had a blue background and one line of code. Before I could hit the exit function, my computer started making a loud siren noise, like a smoke alarm. A long message came up which I tried to close but could not. I did not take the time to read the long message, I closed my machine down. When I opened it again, all my settings were wiped out. My "computer" is a Chromebook, so all I had to do was to go on my phone internet and go to google password change. Once I changed my password and got back on my machine, Google knew my settings and my favorite websites and all was restored.

Supposedly, Chromebook can't get a virus and I don't need any anti-virus software, so with my google account all could be restored (yeah, I know, Google is watching me). It's a new computer and I don't have any documents or pictures on it, so I am not sure how that would have turned if did have those on my computer.

For those on a regular computer, I think they would have lost everything, so BEWARE and back-up your important stuff!
