Designated Grumpy Old Fart
With all the mask and quarantine mandates ending here in the next few weeks to months. Everyone sick of all the restrictions and ready to break free.....are you ready for the THIRD wave (or is it the FORTH or FIFTH wave....I've lost count) to hit? China just locked down another city. There's a new Bird Flu/Duck Flu here in the States and something else Covid related going on in China. Israel reporting that 80% of people now hospitalized with Covid are vaccinated. All those Olympic athletes and support staff will be spreading who knows what to the four corners of the globe in the weeks ahead. And suddenly everyone is focusing on Ukraine, what's hiding just around the corner.
Not trying to be negative or a Debbie Downer, but call it a feeling, or suspicion or an itch I can't scratch I fully expect this damn Covid crap to whip back around on us at least one or two more times. Back in the Influenza Epidemic last century it did. Also with the Black Death in the Middle Ages. That pendulum just kept swinging for quite a while before finally fading out. I just don't think we've seen the last act of this bitch so I would highly recommend to everyone, continue to prep hard and expect the worst. We'll probably end up somewhere in between, but I just don't think the Fat Lady has sung yet.
