…… Apache Open Office 4 Spreadsheet Problem

Dell Inspiron came with Windows 10, upgraded to 11.
Downloaded and upgraded to latest version of Open Office.
Whenever I highlight a group of cells to auto sum or to do the same things to a group of cells, the program freezes. Eventually it says not responding and I close it and then recover the spreadsheet.
Ideas?

I use LibreOffice, which was a 'Fork' of OpenOffice due to the slow walk of updates on OpenOffice.

I know others have had good luck with OO, but in my experience LibreOffice has been better.

Also, not a Win user these days unless dragged kicking and screaming (metaphor there... ) so can't say on the particular configuration.

Might want to give LibreOffice a try, it's a free download.
