Tell tale red-flag. "You send me crypto and I will double whatever you send."

NEVER send money to ANYONE no matter how good it sounds. Why do I have to send you crypto first? Just give me my freebie.

The closer though was that the site said you can only do this once. Right there they are trying to weed out the folks who might send a dollar to see if the offer is real. Send a dollar? "Sorry, one time use only so you better send a lot on your first try!"

The first time this went up, it was legit. It was the day of the Musk/Trump conversation on X. That one was Musk doing a live introduction and lasted 20-25 minutes. I never could find it again after their conversation. Elon spent half the intro talking about SpaceX before getting into this.

Elon laid out all the terms and conditions. X held various amounts of different coins worth 50k BTC in total for the "double your crypto" offer. He then described how this will be the foundation for the X crypto exchange and how that works. And the X exchange will be the core of the X marketplace.

That link is definitely not what he said. The barcode will go to a signup on the X exchange, if you get anything else, report it to X. That is what I remember from the live stream.
