I wish I had a picture I could show you all but I don't. Saw an ingenious lighting option that the owner claimed was purchased from an Amish source. It was a Dewalt battery pack and handle modified with a light/ lantern top that could be hung up like a trouble light or set on a flat surface.
It makes perfect sense. It would be easy enough to recharge via a solar panel or generator.
It had a cover on it that defused the light and made it softer instead of glaring. Think parlor oil lamp crossed with a cordless power drill. It was not one of these:

Not pushing Northern Tool or Dewalt but thought it was interesting and worth sharing.
