EBOLA A solution for those that don't want to be in quarantine for Ebola.

It is frustrating to me that we are letting those that return to the US not be in required quarantine. How do we know they aren't terrorist bringing exposing others on purpose?

Perhaps the solution would be to let them know that every bowling alley, restaurant or public transportation they visit will be required bio cleaning and they will be responsible for the bill. They want to sue, will drain them dry.

Brilliant, let it be a civil affair.

Additionally,
- If you do go out, you and your heirs / family will be responsible for the man hour cost to track your movements.
- If you are sick and pass it on "our" families will be able to seize your assets and your family's assets.

Has No Life - Lives on TB
I don't get the hatred of the quarantine. 3 weeks off sounds like a gift. Would someone please put me in quarantine.

They had a similar problem with a woman and they called her Typhoid Mary and she had to be forced into life time quarantine or imprisonment depends on how you look at it.

How would the insurers of these wandering HCWs respond to a lawsuit like this? If the insurances won't cover it, and the HCW can't cover it, will the businesses filing the lawsuit go after the gov't entities that developed the protocols?

The hypocrisy is rather galling on this issue. These medical people are going to Africa to attempt to help those that have caught this killer virus. And knowing the medical professionals are at high risk of Ebola they then come back to the U.S. and get incensed when they are asked to quarantine themselves for three weeks. Absolutely no regard for those they may infect back here including their own families. And of all people they should know how deadly and insidious this is from what they witnessed with their own eyes.

People in Texas are being quarantined right now in San Antonio for refusing TB treatment. How is this any different? Ebola is a hell of a lot worse than TB. They cannot be forced to be treated -- but they can be detained until they get treated ..

Likely an inappropraite analogy, but I tend to think of it as an ant bringing poison back to the nest.

People that refuse to be quarantined when they should be are "lovers of themselves" that don't care about what happens to society

A three week vacation would be great, no office, no calls, no complaints. Sorry, I cannot see you for three weeks. If I am still alive after three weeks, then we can do lunch.
