You end up with dried out Pork Chops? Try this and tell me how it works
It is very simple and I do this quite a lot, Start with 'Thick Cut' , at least an inch thick, chops (EDIT: always bone in)
make a mix of ....
1/4 Cup diced onions
1//4 Cup water and than.....
1/4 Cup Pure Maple Syrup, and it must be pure Maple syrup, unless real maple this won't work well, tried it with everything
One Tablespoon of Worestshire (howerver that's spelled)
a teaspoon of chili powder along with a pinch of of Cayanne
Sear the chops along with a bit of salt and pepper, take chops out of pan and let the pan cool , now put in the oven with this mix until the meat is 145 degrees, doing this in cast iron pans is easiest. Take it out and cover with something, it'll keep cooking. I only cook pork the same as beef, 145 and we are done.
