Let's Go Brandon!
Terrific news! Glad to see the place will be up another year.
Look at all the shit going on in the world, we’ve been very inspired. This has got to be the shortest fundraiser ever!!!
Well who would know? We want to know. After returning from the PO Box and adding everything up, WE MADE IT!!
We actually have a few hundred to spare. My thanks to everyone who sent something in again this year.
YOU ROCK!!
Whatever comes in from this point will be added to the “emergency fund” and potentially used next year.
This has got to be the shortest fundraiser ever!!!
You mean that mythical "free speech"? WOW........... one of the few places left in America...... I really wish I was joking....It’s beyond a “homeless” thing for me. Where else can we go where we can basically talk about anything without fear of banishment or doxxing? Where we know that our posts won’t be censored. Where we as a group determine our “community standards”.
That’s gotta be worth keeping alive.
Sounds great! This one lasted NINE DAYS. I’ll take that every year please!
And don’t forget, we funded new software and new hard drives over the past year. God willing, we have no extra expenses upcoming.
Ditto, hopefully Thursday or Friday when I'm near a post office :-)Will send ours via snail mail
Great to know. I realize computers are a bit different than most things as things change so quickly. Yet it is worth asking. You never know. What I’d LIKE to do is buy one “extra” hard drive a year. These SSD drives tend to die without warning, and I’d like to have some spares. HOWEVER - the capacities keep going up and the prices down, so “buying ahead” is kind-of a losing game. We have 512 GIGS of DDR4 ECC RAM (max of a terabyte IIRC), but we’re not using most of what we have now.
I really can’t think of anything. In a couple years, depending on price/capacity, I’d like to start laying in the next gen of hard drives, in order to raise our capacity. But not yet.
Thanks for offering! We’re finally in great shape.
I've been out of state for a while. I will get $20 into snail mail today or tomorrow, depending on when I can get to town.
