VIDEO 18-Year-Old Ohio Man Found With AK-47, Ammo In Times Square Subway Station

I guess the real crime here is that the protections of the Constitution end at the borders of leftist states.
There is no higher calling for a man than defense of self and others, especially those that cannot defend themselves.
Places like NYC try to outsource defense to the local constabulary, and yet fail to adequately protect the populace.

The fact that the laws of the Left Coast and Communist Northeast disallow law abiding Americans to use the best weapons available (or in many cases any weapon) for their protection is a travesty (unless of course, one is very well off financially or politically connected) .

More and more, my mind turns to the idea of secession.
Not because I particularly want it, but because the Socialist States of America disregard the law of the land (drugs, guns, immigration, marriage, etc) whenever they wish, but demand that we abide by Unconstitutional edicts when their people pass them while in power.

The only other option is a reverse pogrom, where the Commies get killed, for once.
And teaching actual history so that people never get so stupid again.

‘He was visiting Times Square for the first time’: Ohio man busted with AK-47 was simply confused about New York gun laws, his mom says

Apr 17, 2021 at 4:24 PM

He wasn’t on a mission. He was just “misinformed.”

The mom of the 18-year-old Ohio man caught with an AK-47 in a midtown Manhattan subway said her son wasn’t planning any violence — he just thought it would be okay to visit New York with an assault rifle in tow.

“I BEG of the media to quit painting a bad picture of my son whom was misinformed of the gun laws in NY,” the mother of suspect Saadiq Teague messaged a Daily News reporter on Saturday.

“He was visiting Times Square for the first time to see it in person. He was so excited and happy and had no other reasons for being in NY!” she said.

Teague — whose father was killed in a police shootout in Columbus, Ohio last month — was arrested Friday around 12:30 p.m. inside the 42nd St./Port Authority station, sitting near a cell phone charging station with the AK-47 in plain view.

The rifle did not have a magazine inserted. A magazine and ammunition were within Teague’s reach, said law enforcement sources.

Teague was questioned by detectives from the NYPD Intelligence Bureau before he was charged with multiple counts of gun possession and unlawful use of drug paraphernalia. He told cops he owned the weapon legally in another state, according to a source.

Cops also recovered a gas mask, which sources said Teague attached to a bong while smoking marijuana.

Minutes before his arrest, the young suspect posted an Instagram video ragging on the Big Apple — revealing a black, metal object sticking out of his backpack.

“F--- New York!” the young man screamed into the camera as he walked down the street. A timestamp read 12:18 p.m.

“I want to go home!” he yelled, smiling from ear to ear. “Back to Columbus!”

It’s not clear if the object in his backpack seen in the Instagram video was the same assault rifle.

“I love you all!” Teague screamed at reporters as cops marched him out of the NYPD’s Transit District 1 headquarters at Columbus Circle on Friday night in handcuffs. His arraignment was pending Saturday.

Teague’s mother defended her son as “a graduate from a Grade A high school” and insisted he didn’t have a criminal record.

She added that her son was in “NO WAY SHAPE OR FORM affiliated with the incident in which he lost his father.

“He works to help his family and neighbors,” the mom wrote. “He has a village behind him who will be here for him praying and helping him to understand and help him heal from this.”

Teague’s dad, Andrew Teague, 43, died March 5 after a shootout with police in Columbus, sources said.

According to media reports, police tried to execute an arrest warrant for a Feb. 2 shooting when the elder Teague drove away.

Officers broke off their car pursuit, but a police helicopter kept tracking him. Teague pulled over on an interstate highway, and police in patrol cars found him and resumed the pursuit, according to reports.

Teague drove the wrong way on the highway, striking two vehicles, before he got out of his car and confronted the officers with a weapon. He was killed in the ensuing shootout.

Andrew Teague left behind eight children, including Saadiq, and six grandchildren, according to his online obituary. He often spoke about opening a family-owned business, mentoring and getting involved with reentry programs, the obituary said.

“He apparently had this hidden gift of making people feel that they alone filled his heart, not realizing that there were many special areas in his heart just for each one of us,” the obituary read. “Drew dedicated his life to protecting those he loved no matter what!”

Can you even imagine what the cops in NYC have to deal with on a daily basis? Go to the actual article and take a look.

I'm seeing a trend or correlation here..............

A society with "the right to bear arms" was written by people who also said that the society should be composed of "Europeans of good character" for starters..............

Fast forward to our times and when at one time we had people who suffered from lack of good character "often the emotionally stressed out or full blown mentally ill" were removed from our society and institutionalized in state facilities to manage their liabilities than rather let them run free is society.

But today we've removed those facilities and are allowing them to run free and ignoring the signs of those around us that should be considered receiving such help.

Guns and the emotionally stressed and mentally ill don't make a good mix.

And then you have gangs composed mostly of POC and inner cities........................don't get me started there but they certainly don't fit the founders idea of "Europeans of good character" and the guns are still around so we know how that will work out.

See our government is trying to use these volatile mixes through the MSM to push the idea that guns are not good for society in an effort to remove that barrier in their goal of control of society............all the while responsible gun owners (composed mostly of those of "good character") are the ones they really want to remove them from and get rid of the 2nd amendment holding the government from taking full control.

So they using the few rotten apple in an attempt to destroy all the good apple in the bushel of society in an effort to control all the apples they want to put in that bushel.

I know BigBro and the MSM are doing their best to raise hysteria over anything ballistic, but it's just a tool. Like a hammer, but noisier. It is not an Evil Spawn Of Satan.

The NY level of hysteria is way over the top and has been for decades, but apparently not sufficient to have penetrated the mentation of this individual.

So does anybody think he wouldn't have been stopped if he was wandering around Columbus, Ohio, with an AK and a gas mask blowing out clouds of weed?

Not buyin’ it. If true, the kid is a retard and shouldn’t have a gun.

One mass shooting every single day until "they" get full gun control. We are now in a race between the Leftists implementing their Plan, and the economic, political and social system collapsing. also neck and neck with an honest to God shooting war with Russia, Iran and China.

What if the world is so fed up with POTUS they come to help the insurgents overthrown the illegal installed POTUS? Hopium, most likely, but, history has had its fair share of ironic situations...

The American people have not yet begun to suffer. The liberal 50% are totally unprepared and have a DEEP sense of entitlement. The conservative half are "relatively" prepared and reasonably well armed. All of them are facing mass violence, up to and including a surprise nuke attack.
Other than that, things are ok.:ld:

Of course. And someone who dealt in picture frames would know (built on experience) that it was picture frames. Only when it was opened would you know who was correct.

Pride comes before the fall.....Pride month ended.
Did anyone look at the condition of that rifle.....looked like it just came out of a rust bucket or a fire. Absolutely no oil on it forever...........where did he get it.....dad would of taken better care of his.

I think everyone is reading too much into this. So he had a Klashy and was visiting NYC and got there on a bus. I used to travel on buses all the time with an M-4. (Okay, with my National Guard unit heading for the training area.)

I'm sure he just wanted to show it off to his "cousins" in NYC and there is nothing wrong with that. Hoplophobia is a mental disorder and just because he happens to be black doesn't mean anything either. Too much hysteria, it's not like everyone waking around in public with a militia civilian version of a military rifle is going to be an active public shooter. That's just bigotted.

You see, it's that liberal attitude that gets me...
Tell ya what: since you don’t like that “liberal attitude,” you need to take an AK or AR to the exact spot the kid did. You know, to “wave the flag” and “stand up for our civil rights.”

Unless you’re too chicken...

As you know, I live in FL now. I never see anybody with a gun, although I guess they can.

You could call that being discreet, I suppose.

you know, that is interesting.

it made me ponder the open carry and constitutional carry thinking.

there is merit to open carry in regards to a civilized society. people see that you are armed and they mind their p's and q's. in a society that is very populated with open carry, everyone realizes that there are weapons right there and it does make some rethink their behavior and actions. i'm not saying it works for everyone, as there are more people than brains sometimes, but you know what i mean.

but it also made me think about the constitutional carry. everyone and anyone can be carrying, and one would never know. one would not be sure if their behavior or actions would end in a righteous ass kicking or shooting (ass kicking because if a state is open carry or constitutional carry, they are generally more practical in the righteous ass kicking reasoning too).

therefore, people would be in better control of their person.

hmmm
