"The 1100 foot (333 meter) long Hamburg Süd Container ship Cap San Antonio crushed a ferry loading dock in Port Santos, Brazil. The ship lost control as it was departing the port and crashed into the ferry loading docks, the ship sustained a large gash to its hull. The ship is a 10,500 TEU (20 foot container equivalent unit ), which means it can hold 10,500 shipping containers. It can carry over 120,000 tons in cargo when full. The ship was basically empty and was embarking on a short trip to Paraguay. The Cap San Antonio is now anchored offshore as the accident is investigated. There was no report of serious injuries, amazingly. The ferry docks were heavily damaged and this is causing delays for the ferry services located there. Thanks to Ricardo.Rittes for the footage."
