CHAT Changes at Walmart today

The people outside of my local Walmart who count those coming in and out are gone, the directional signs on the floors are gone and they aren't stopping people from entering without masks, they still have the sign up saying masks are required. They were still out of a lot of cleaning products but had lots of TP for the first time since January. Canned soups still very low and strange they were almost out of powdered drink mixes for water. At 9AM the store was empty.

You're lucky, we are going to be FINED $100.00 for not wearing a mask here in CT. If you go to a gathering of more than the allotted # (which I don't even remember because I don't care) $250.00 FINE and $500.00 FINE for ORGANIZING an event that goes over the current allotted # of people. I hate CT, government not the geography, it's beautiful here.Screen Shot 2020-09-18 at 11.50.53 AM.png

I saw the exact same thing at my Walmart today. Exact, right down to the powdered drink mixes. They have been working on the parking lot for the past several weeks and now have begun work on the floors inside. The place is a disorganized mess. I grabbed what I could find and left.

Put some soft laws that must be enforced

Gradually make the laws more draconian to the extent that non compliance requires a punishment to force compliant behavior.

Soften the people up, get them used to following the orders of the many shepperds.

Gain political control and then raise the stakes

Go after the amendments with punishment being much more severe (Think FEMA camps with reeducation and guillotines.

UT, same situation here in Northern Idaho. Some walk in with masks, some don't. Only one door open now; other one is locked. Shelves are fairly well stocked. Some soups are missing; but, that is the same situation at several grocery stores; no Split Pea Soup to be found. Safeway shelves are stocked, but the pasta area is barely stocked; items pushed to the front of the shelves to deceive you. After the election; everything is going to change and for the worse. Buy what you can now; don't go overboard and draw attention to yourself. Shop a couple times a week; a different store and be selective as to what your family will need in the months ahead. We could see power grid down and Martial Law.

Might as well call it "We're Desperate for Money and Will Get It Any Way We Can".

This too shall pass.
We picked up a parking lot order at Walmart yesterday (rural south-central KY) and I noticed that they've finally opened both sets of doors into the store, and no longer have people standing outside to monitor shoppers coming in. It's about time. I didn't go in, so I don't know if they've taken the arrows off the floors, though I mostly ignored those, anyway.

They have opened back up all the entrance doors at our Walmart and also removed the person sitting out there. Never understood the purpose of having someone sit out there and watch people enter. It’s not like the mask requirement is being enforced anywhere in Texas.

A LOT of people will not drink plain water. They are spoiled.

Same at mine, no more demands for a mask, blue tape gone, both exits doors open and no more directional crap down the ailes (which was always ignored)

If Wallyworld is open and free there is no reason you can't vote in person. I really had the thought the Ds had over played their hand as in starting this bs too early before the election. By Nov 1st there will be no masks or mandates and all the kids should be back in school. Once again Trump has beaten the Clown Car brigade! The mail in voting has me worried though I must admit.

If you have the time, look up what FDR did to the U.S. while in office. He was in the process of turning us into a socialistic state. There were many prongs to his scheme reaching across every aspect of American life. Very interesting.

I pick up my RX at walmart and had to go today, so decided to pick up a few things while there.
30ish Hispanic woman pushed her cart directly in front of me while I was getting something off the shelf, and tried reaching in front of me, like I wasn't even there.
I grabbed her cart and slung it across the aisle.
She just looked at me for a second, gave a little huff, went and got her cart.

They don't have carts where she comes from. Think, pack animal like a burrow. She was as confused as she was when trying to find due north on her way here. Damn leeches.

Same thing here in south of Wichita, Kansas. Cattle shoots are gone so we can just walk in. 75% still wear mask.

When I went to my local Walmart here in mid-Missouri yesterday afternoon, both front entrances were open for the first time in months. I thought maybe they had given up because there were a dozen or so confirmed cases of Covid-19 among the workers here.

There were still directional arrows on the floor, though.

Here in Southern Michigan still only one door still cattle guards at the front and someone sitting out there to watch. Stihl directional arrows etc etc still demanding mask even though some come in and some don't have them on

That's my DH for sure. I do have some powders stocked and I do have a decent supply of tea if it comes to that. Its plain water and coffee for me.

I have to go to town on Monday and I'll see if both doors will be open at the walmart there.

No one has paid attention to the directional arrows since the first week or so of them being down.

South central MO...just got back: No outside "Entrance Only", all "barriers" gone, person that was outside with masks is now inside. All directional arrows gone...still "suggesting" 6 ft apart...but about half wearing masks but store at 10 am was not crowded at all. Almost like Twilight Zone down here...lol.

Good! Glad to hear that stuff is going away in your areas. I'm encouraged that our Wally Worlds will stop the nonsense soon.

The local Mennard's still has a sign about wearing masks, but they are no longer enforcing it, at least on weekdays. I've been in ours twice this week. The "guard" is gone. I went in the second time without a mask. No one said anything to me.

I've searched and searched and can't find what I once read. It may have been in a book I was reading. Or, I'm flat out wrong. That could be the case here. My apologies for posting specious information.

No worries, I will see what I can turn up, it sounds plausible. I have heard one of (I think Greg Hunter's) the interviewees state that FDR deliberately made the Great Depression worse.

As of a couple of weeks ago, the Gettysburg PA Walmart had not changed. I will have to check this weekend to see if it is different. However with Wolf and the tranny health secretary, I am doubtful. There is a state senator that is trying to put through a bill that would make not wearing a mask in public a misdemeanor punishable by 2 years in prison and/or $5,000 fine. Another way for them to get money along with legalizing pot so they can tax it. I guess gambling is not enough.

Ha ha. I went to see my mental health councilor friday and she sat 4 ft away from me. She did have her mask on. When we were almost done she moved her seat 6 ft away and ripped off her mask saying that she couldn't breathe! Ha ha ha! Even these kind of workers are sick of the mask!

Things are changing despite the fear being promoted by the media. The virus has become so widespread that most people now know someone who had it and are learning the virus in healthy people is usually less severe than the flu or even some common colds. Even here in liberal Illinois the state mandates for health professionals have eased. No longer are you required to get 2 negative tests a week apart before being released from quarantine after testing positive. My oldest son (age 50) and his family live across our lane from us and we interact with them every day. They have 14 and 10 year old boys still at home. The boys attend school, our son works in a factory that has had several cases, and his wife is an ER nurse who has encountered several people with the virus, so they could have caught it anywhere. Son and the 10 year old GS both began feeling tired almost 2 weeks ago. No other symptoms. DIL took our son to be tested and both were positive. Doctor told them not to bother bringing the 10 year old in for a test because he definitely had it too and there was near zero chance the 14 year old GS hadn't been exposed also. Simply told them to isolate at home 14 days and they would be good to go. DIL got the fatigue symptom a couple days later. The fatigue lasted 1 day for the 10 year old, 2 days for the DIL, 4 days for our son, and the 14 year old never got any symptoms. That was it. Son called his factory to go back to work and they told him to have the health dept. FAX them a form showing he could return to work and they did. He returns to work Monday. They even figured his 14 day quarantine from the day he told them he began to feel tired instead of the day he was tested. Wife and I always take the 2 grandsons out to get a sandwich on Sunday and did so last Sunday. Neither of us has had any symptoms yet. But out in the real world people are learning to live with it.

Been along time so..................I think FDR ran a campaign against Hoover claiming he was a profligate spender and what was needed was frugality in gov. He got in to find the system collapsing around him. So as he was claimed to have said; We will keep trying until we find something that works. Most things he tried, didn't work.

My Gramp said the only thing that did work was the Rural Electrification Assoc. Oddly enough, today we need a Rural Broadband Assoc.l but for some reason, they can't get that off the ground.

But FDR did prove one thing. As long as the gov looks like it is trying to do something to ameliorate the problem, the citizens will support it. Even if the effort is a failure.

My father's archives 1924-33 have a half dozen pieces of paper. Starting in 1933, gobs of stuff on farming, what to farm, how much you could grow etc. In 1939, no better off than 1933 but they all voted Democrat in 1940 when a bunch had gone for Hoover in 1932.

Our local one in Crossville, TN changed yesterday too. Local Chinese virus numbers have dropped significantly since August. It's weird we don't hear anything of the virus situation in China these days. The chinks must be keeping a tight lid on info

Those "lockdown laws" can't be enforced because they are not legislated laws. They are laws issued from the mouths of democrat governors. Americans have been so dumbed down the past 2 or 3 generations that they believe anything anyone in a position of authority tells them. Those "laws" are going to backfire big time once one Constitutional lawsuit goes to court to contest the legality of 9-month lockdown laws.

who ever came up with the idea of putting those arrows down did not think it thru..
think about this, if you and another person are walking in oppisit directions in an isle and you pass each other it is for what a second or so right?.
now think about every one going the same way in an isle and there are 5 persons in that isle and one stops and every one passes them and that takes about 2 seconds also..
so you end up with in 6 feet of each other anyway when passing them wether you go against the arrows or with them..
so who are they tring to kid with the arrows that do no good what so ever?.
