I can’t believe I have been a member here close to 20 years! Crazy! I do not post alot, but did initially during the Iraq war and while Ferguson was going on because I had inside information about those events.

This is by far the longest group I have remained in. I love you guys!

Congrats on sticking with us here in the funny farm. It’s been a helluva trip hasn’t it? I originally found this place during the Greenspun iteration. We’ve been a “family” pretty much the entire time. Many of us have “died in the traces” if you will. That will probably hold true for most all of us. But I can’t think of any group that I’d rather grow old with. It’s been great riding in the “short bus” with you!

Stupid autocorrect. Traces, not tacos. Geez….

I'm fixing to be 19 years. I was here Y2K and just browsed occasionally. I didn't want to be on the radar, but finally decided to be on the official gov watch list. I guess my account will be willed to my daughter when she gets old enough. lol

I shouldn't say this, but what the he**. I remember posting that my age had gotten to the same number as my favored weapon. I turned 44. I am now 66. In the words of 'The Grateful Dead', 'What a long, strange trip it's been'.

Great people, great knowledge, great community…

Hope to coast past twenty years, and then throw another 20 on top of that…

Like Dennis and Night Driver, been since before Y2K back in the Greenspun days, although I took a break back for a few years.

Good info, good people and some good times to be had here.

edit: After reading Meemur's post I realize that I've been here 25 years (or more) myself. Jeebus, I'm old.

Not sure when i joined exactly...sometime around Y2K just before or just after. Took a few years off during a time the forum had too many racist or mysoginist posts and came back now a couple years ago to see things less angry and stayed.

Officially been here 15 years, but lurked at least 5 years prior to joining. It is the first thing I look at every morning, the last thing I look at before going to bed at night, and these days I am just checking in on an hourly basis. A long, strange trip it has been!
