GUNS/RLTD Sales so bad we are considering discontinuing 80% lowers

I know overall gun sales are down 30-50% depending on the company, but this is about the end of us continuing to make 80% AR lowers. Forging prices and shipping are up 60% from two years ago and we can't even sell the finished product at $34 to make $5.00 after everything is added up. We are putting them up at $29.99 to blow them out and pay off our metal bill and hope to regroup making the gearbox for trailers, knife kits and knife grinders.

Sales were VERY consistent for the last two and a half years, then there was a three week bump up before the ghost gun ban rule. Sales have crashed ever since. After it was announced that the ATF was publishing the pistol brace ban, sales dropped further.

We may keep making a few cases a month to keep our customers so we can offer them the knife products and hopefully transition as many of them over as possible.

The gearbox that I invented to raise and lower trailers is in its final, very improved form vs what I came up with a few years ago. Hopefully people will see the value in it and buy them.

Ammo is very available and not any more expensive than everything else re inflation. This is a great time to buy a couple hundred bucks worth here and there to top off supplies. Palmetto has kits very cheap. Look for continued sales and great buys in the firearms world. Get it while you can, I expect EVRYTHING to go to crap over the next 18 months. Buy now instead of being mad that you can't find ammo or it is super expensive when you can find it.

See pictures of the final gear box and the prototype belt grinder that we will be making. It will come as a kit, bolt it together in ten
minutes, no welding required.

I sell silver hydrosol and silver hydrosol based products-my business has almost completely collapsed, at least a 90% drop since Labor Day-even with sales. I hope your business can survive this attempted communist overthrow of our nation.

If possible, I would like a TB2K AR10 lower.

I was a dumbarse for not getting one, when I got
the TB2K AR15 lower.

Please be safe everyone.

Regards to all.

They weren’t doing DPMS style AR10 lowers at that time. Don’t know if they are these days.

Sorry to hear this. A near complete collapse worries me. Is this the economy, or is toy saturation nearly complete?

Sorry about the drop in your arms sales, and understand the financial necessity to curtail production.

However, I am curious to know if you will be able to resume production in the future?

Or is the production capacity permanently lost?

With the US Army adopting the Sig-Sauer XM7 as the new issue rifle replacing the Current M4, there is going to be chaos in the AR market place. The cheap prices for lowers and anything else relating to the AR platform is going to increase substantually. The military is still the largest purchaser of upper and lower forgings and barrels, not the commercial manufacturers. As with anything business related less demand leads to higher price per unit.
So, now might be the ideal time to gather some spare parts.

The prices will go no lower unless a clearance, since many are selling at unsustainable levels. Once enough manufacturers stop making them the price will rise for the remaining smaller market.
