I could care less about orgies or sex tapes (as long as everyone is adult) but I do care about taking investors' funds and illegally using them like a free bank account to prop up other parts of the company, buy properties for employees and generally running an old fashioned Ponzi and money laundering scheme. One that seems to involve taxpayer money, the war in Ukraine, both Democratic and Republican Candidates, and investments by hundreds if not thousands of companies some of which are now in danger of total collapse.

The sex thing is kind of icky, but to my mind, it is also a distraction - sex sells more newspapers (or media advertising) than what to the average person looks like another business/bank failure that doesn't affect them much until suddenly it does. I get that, but it still is only relevant in that it suggests some rather immature behavior (and possibly illegal workplace pressure on some employees to engage in sex as part of keeping their jobs). Otherwise, it just ups the "entertainment" factor and distractions from the real degree of power and corruption that this story may end up exposing. Unless of course, those tapes show the sexual exploitation of children, then that's a whole different story.

She should recuse herself for it looks like they too should be part of the investigation, for they were part of the scheme, and profited heavily by it.

I think SBF and his ugly girlfriend are not as clever as they think they are. They’ve been used by the con artist political machine in DC and governments such as Ukraine. SBF thought he could control everything —because he’s so smart of course — but he didn’t count on state-level criminal artists that are even smarter, twice his age, and utterly ruthless. This junior conman just got taken by government-level conmen. Of course the little people who signed over their crypto to him got burned but that’s just collateral damage. No sympathy for anyone at FTX, they all knew they were running a con.

This whole show has been a work of performance art that is fascinating to watch unfold. The level of depravity and criminality is breathtaking. Like the old meme says: “I’m not even mad, I’m impressed!”

I’m also keeping in mind that those who created this con (not SBF and ugly GF) are the real enemy and they are very good at what they do.

My take ?

He finally realized he had to drop the mushroom talk if he was going to continue pied piping with any sort of following.

Refining the hopium, as it were.

Conservatives, as a whole, aren’t stupid, so the charlatans do have to stay at least one step ahead of combined group awareness.

Kudos, Clifford.

I’ll spare you the incredibly long list of all your predictions over the last three years that fell and remained flat on their face.
