And yet, when Trump went on the attack, it was "oh how dark! Oh how uncouth! Democracy is under attack!"

They'll listen to this with glee. While half the country sees it as a direct attack on them. And maybe even some who don't think of themselves as MAGA will see it as heavy handed.

Biden could have taken the unifying route, even if fake, but again, he's too full of himself to do that...
