Does he know that no officers were killed during the whole thing? Only one person died. Her name was Ashley. Has he ever acknowledged that or is this still all a political scam?

This is an example of the re-writing of history. Indeed, only that one person died on Jan. 6. But the media takes the fact of officers dying relatively soon after (at least one of admittedly unrelated causes), fudges the timing just enough to a public that doesn't recall all the details - and voila, they can claim Jan 6 was deadly on the part of the protestors against the police.

I think there is going to be another speech tomorrow night but the report could have been wrong - I just copied the headline, so I don't know.

As for "Don't care what Biden Says," while that is true on one level, I think careful listening is called for because we know it isn't Biden who is writing those speeches (few Presidents do) but in his case, it is highly likely rather than his own words, he is saying what his "handlers" want you to hear and what "they" intend to try to do.

There is also likely more than one set of "handlers" jockeying for power, there almost always is when the "King" is either a child or incapable of personally governing. So speeches like the one yesterday and possibly the one tomorrow (if there is one) can also give clues as to which group is leading the pack at the moment. Maybe not the individual players but there's a difference between what the Neo-Cons want, what the Big Corporate/Bankster want, and what some of the seriously radical leftist types want.

Their goals overlap sometimes but they are not the same - a sane and aware President (even a Jimmy Carter) has to be aware of who his primary backers and advisors are and what goals they stand for and then make his own decisions. We all know how unlikely it is that Biden makes any decisions these days beyond vanilla or chocolate Ice Cream, so the speeches are some of the only windows we have to what might be going on.

That said, if it is going to be at midnight or one my time, I may skip it and look at the summaries or replay.

The entire speech is available at wh.gov and even just reading it quietly, it sounds like incoherent,, nonsensical ramblings of an old guy whose mind is going.
