That was a big tip-off. I signed in to my acc't - NOT the link in the email, and searched the order # from the email. No such order.Scam. Clue is the very last sentence..."Please do not contact Customer Service...." Anything legit would encourage you to contact customer service with any questions or concerns.
I set a security limit on the credit card I use for Amazon. I get a text message notification from the cc company for any transaction over $100 and it asks if that was me. If it's not me, I can answer no and they freeze the card. If yes, I do nothing. This works for any transaction including Amazon.
I don't even have an Amazon acct but today I got at least 7 phone calls about my 900$ possible fraudulent purchase. Press 2 to approve etc. Why do they have to call so many times in one day!
