Our freedoms come from the Creator. They do not depend upon the Constitution or Joe Biden's dictates or largess.
The Bill of Rights prohibits government from regulating and encroaching upon our freedoms. The Constitution is a document that establishes the form of our government. The ratification of that document was our delegation of limited authority in that form/structure to provide government. Elections delegate the consent of the governed to have certain representatives fill the slots to craft the laws by which we sh be governed, consistent with the Constitution and its Bill of Rights.
Health emergencies do not supercede the Constitution.
The power flows from the People, who are sovereign.

And if you believe in a Creator then you believe in consequences for denying Their wishes. Honestly, sometimes I think some, like Bai-dan's current crew, were just born with a dominant stupid gene.
Theoretically and academically, that's absolutely correct. In today's world, those words are in the most practical sense "inoperable" and "out of date", besides being included in a fundamentally flawed from the very beginning (their words, not mine).
Bai-Den has also stated publicly that "constitutional amendments are not absolute". Communists have long wanted to do away with two things - our right to bear arms and the Constitution itself. Do you think that perhaps the Aussies wish they hadn't turned in their guns so long ago?
The balance will not be restored until the people - whoever "they" are - make it happen. Typing this sentence reminds me of the words heard by Saul on the road to Damascus: "It is hard for you to kick against the pricks (or goads)". I feel as if we've entered into that same phase.

The founding fathers stated that our rights are inalienable from god and that the constitution only codifies them. The constitution is not a permission slip. It simply states the codified mechanics of practicing as a democratic republic.

He's right. Our freedoms don't come from the Constitution. The Constitution is a RESTRICTION on GOVERNMENT. It outlines the ONLY things this government is allow to cover/do. EVERYTHING else is left to the States and THE PEOPLE!! Too bad our boneheads in D.C. can't get that through their thick heads and it's too bad WE THE PEOPLE don't clamp down on government intrusions into our rights and kick their butts all the way back to D.C. We are losing our God given rights in a death by a thousand cuts. We need to break out the sledge hammers and hammer down on our representatives and force them to abide by THE LAW OF THE LAND and get rid of 99% of the crap that spews out of our state and federal capitals.

I have to not think about it so much, although the honorable servicemen and others need to be remembered. Otherwise it becomes too upsetting to me And I don’t think I can entirely blame B-den or even the people who voted for him, they just turn a blind eye to all the damage, does make me mad. I can’t blame who I don’t know but have a pretty good idea of! Anyway I have to separate myself from all this as terrible as it all is! I guess someday soon, all we had good in this country will become a memory, sadly!

Rohm Emanuel made a statement to the effect that there are no rights--only power. Hard to hear, but true. Rights and liberty are only as good as their enforcement. The constitution is only a piece of paper. It only worked so long as the vast majority of people accepted its underlying principle--that some things are always right and something are always wrong, and we are unltimately accountable for our actions. Now our leaders think that "right" means whatever they can get away with, and "wrong" is always somebody else's fault.
