We haven't been doing much of anything all week. Yard maintenence and normal stuff, except taking our fur baby to the vet for a check up. He was doing fine.
I still haven't received the Keystone meat I ordered from Pleasant Hill Grains. Cary called them, yesterday, and they said it would probably be around the 1st of October, before we got it. They have a lot of back orders to fill. So, Cary checked Keystone Meats website, and they are back in stock, except for ground beef. I'll be making out another order to them next week.
I looked all over online, yesterday, for #10 cans of dried bell peppers. I found a site, but it will break the bank to get those, so I declined. For the time being, I'm going to buy peppers, and chop them for the freezer. I'll save the #10 cans I already have for long term storage. I've been using them, instead of taking up room in the freezers by chopping and freezing my own. Once again, no peppers from our garden this year to speak of. Sigh. Our local farmer's market this year was a total loss. We didn't get to buy any purple hull peas, so I'll have to keep stocking those from the grocery store.
Cary has a doctor's appointment on Tuesday for a check up. Hopefully, his doctor won't give him a hard time about the vax. This is his doctor that writes all of his prescription meds. If he refuses to be Cary's doctor, because he isn't vaxxed, I don't know what we'll do. All of the doctors in our area are all a part of the same medical system/complex/network.
