As I said on the other thread, even my African American co-workers, mostly middle-class professionals avoided Juneteenth celebrations, especially in Oakland. I remember after one huge riot (that a close friend got caught up in accidentally getting off the bus from work) where the all-black Oakland City council and the Black Mayor tried to explain how this riot was "not a racial issue."
They tried to do that with a straight face and my mix-raced housemate and I laughed our heads off until we nearly cried (she was one-half white, one have Asian).
This was right before I got married, I remember telling Nightwolf our mutual friend was scared out of his wits, but not seriously injured so early 1990s, probably 1993.

Yeah. I've seen a couple of so-called Juneteenth "celebrations" the past few days where they shot and killed each other too. Didn't bother posting it. You know how they are.
No knee-grow celebration can be deemed a success without at least one shooting. Extra cred if someone dies from a GSW.
No self-respecting white male is going to want any woman who's bedded down with an animal. Once she's been passed around and she's popped out a couple of mongrels for them, blacks won't want her either. I've never understood how anyone can have self esteem that low. You may find it interesting that in the book......"rules for radicals" in taking over Western society by Saul Alinsky talked about getting to the females of Western White culture and indoctrinating them as seeing White men as the enemy and oppressors..........and to bath in empathy towards the oppressed classes.........

There is only one race, the human race, mankind. And, all of mankind has fallen. Higher or lower amounts of pigmentation in one's skin has nothing to do with falling, and learning from that fall, when you get back up and no longer want to fall. Some people learn early, and some spend most of their lives before they learn. And, it appears some refuse to learn. Ignorance knows no color.
Black events, BLM marches, George Floyd events, they all pale (no pun intended) in comparison to say, that white event of WW1.

Two possible answers. First is low self-esteem and the feeling that they need to do some kind of penance. The other is that some women seek an assertive male above all else, and black males seem to be very hard on white women, which the women interpret as being alpha. All my life, I've never understood how some women are attracted to the lowest of men. Then I finally read about what may be the answer. It has nothing to do with low self-esteem.
These women actually think they have more self-esteem than other women. It basically comes down to the women knowing exactly what they got, believing that they can change the man, and when they do, that man will never ever want to leave them, hurt them, or cheat on them. These women believe those men will worship the ground their woman walks on, because only that woman is the one capable of changing them. A good man is simply not a challenge to them. And, if there is nothing to change in those men, they believe those men will leave, hurt, or cheat on them.
