Amid all the confusing guidance spewed by the CDC, NIH, and the Administration (from Fauci, Walensky, Biden, Psaki etc) in the last two weeks, one teacher's verbally-abusive rage against a maskless student in her class sums up the nation's science-denying (masked or unmasked?), virtue-signalers' ongoing cognitive dissonance as the pandemic that gave many of them purpose in life is quickly fading from top of mind.

A video of the scene went viral after a Poynette, Wisconsin teacher (with clearly severe comorbodities) blasted a student for not wearing a mask.

“I don’t care if you’re vaccinated you little dink,” the belligerent teacher says during the exchange.
“I don’t want to get sick and die. There’s other people you can infect. Just because you’re vaccinated.”

The student, sitting against the wall, politely and calmly repeatedly says “okay” in response to the verbal abuse.
“You know what? You’re not a special person around here. You should hear how everybody talks about you around here. YOU’RE A JERK,” the increasingly aggressive teacher shouts.

The student replies that he doesn’t care what people are saying about him, which appears to further enrage the teacher...
“You’re a jerk,” she repeats. “You need to have respect for other people in your life.”
“You’re not a big man on campus,” she says as the video cuts off.

Shortly after the clip went viral, the teacher was placed on administrative leave. District Administrator Matthew Shappell posted on Facebook that the district “is aware” of what occurred and that the unnamed teacher will remain on leave “pending the outcome of the investigation.”
Dear Families,
The School District of Poynette is aware of an incident that occurred today, May 11th, involving a teacher and student at the Poynette High School. The District is initiating an investigation and the teacher involved has been put on administrative leave pending the outcome of the investigation. The District contacted the parents and we are taking steps to provide the appropriate support for the student involved.

Still, some prefer to keep wearing their masks even after the CDC changed its mind about what the latest science is, in the process denying said "science" as a signal of their virtue for all to admire even though they have now officially crossed into vice signaling.

One thing I learned from decades on the street is you can’t fix crazy in any of it’s forms or manifestations. The kid did right by not escalating the situation as he probably has learned early on... you can’t fix crazy. You can destroy it but you can’t fix it.

Actually, he did good. I had numerous run-ins with admin. and faculty in HS. They HATE it when their adversary remains calm and neutral. A loosing battle when they get cycled up, and the student doesn't.

Petty tryants, and petty rules. What I could never figure out, was why more people didn't just ignore them.

They never break, that’s the problem. The crazy just amplifies to the point that one has to walk away for their own safety or engage with extreme violence. That’s been my experience in these situations, and I’ve had a few(s). Most I’ve walked away, but some, for the safety of others, I had to get more personally involved.

It very well could get violent and as I said, one should be ready for that, but in my own experience, ones like her just flip out when they break, ranting, raving and screaming like a loon and her type getting violent, would be a gift.
People need to quit running from them and deal with them like they should be dealt with with extreme prejudice.

George Floyd comes to mind in that scenario, so I’m always careful what I ask for.... especially when working the street for a Gubmint agency or chasing down a suspected crazy with a shotgun along side my dad never suspecting the crazy would fight over the gun and it then discharge. Optics is a bitch when all is said and done.

First off, that parade float of a teacher should SERIOUSLY consider salads.

And second. I hope that this eventually gets to the point that the school system ends up saying to the parents something along the lines of "within reason, how many zeros would you like on the end of the check that we are going to be told to write you, because of the actions of this ASShat teacher of ours"

This just irritates the [insert your choice] out of me. I don't blame everyone else for my Type 2. I don't even blame my parents for their genetics setting me up for this. I can't even say I blame our business (I have the type of diabetes activated by stress). Ultimately my health is my responsibility.

That so-called teacher is her own enemy. She can go around masked, etc. She has no right to demand of others what she will not do for herself.

I haven't seen one of them in public in ages. Also in the liberal hive mind its virtue signaling not to wear N95s because those masks are reserved for healthcare workers. No honest. It doesn't matter to them if N95s work to protect the wearer from airborne diseases and face diapers can't.

I wear face diapers in public (live in blue area). I'm saving the N95s for a real dangerous airborne pandemic.
