Things are not like they used to be.

It was well known that Mexican president, Andrés Manuel López Obrador, and Donald Trump had a tremendous working relationship. Obrador helped President Trump hold illegal aliens in his country before their trial in the US and Trump rewarded Obrador and Mexico with a strong border policy.

Those days are over.

Today, under the Biden-Kamala administration, the US Border is wide open and the Mexican President is not pleased with the way the Biden administration is assisting cartel leaders in Mexico with their insane policies.

On Friday Lopez Obrador accused the Biden administration of orchestrating a coup against his administration!

Then later Obrador complained after Kamala Harris walked out of their first meeting on US border! She got up and walked away because she had “other business.”

Kamala is the Biden “border czar”

ABC International reported:
Much has changed the attitude of the Mexican president, Andrés Manuel López Obrador, towards the White House after the departure of Donald Trump. At his first major meeting with the US vice president, who has recently assumed the task of solving the migration crisis at the border, the Mexican president has come accusing his northern neighbor of interventionist and financier of coup plotters, to which he has added the rudeness of communicating to Kamala Harris that she was not going to stay for the entire meeting – held virtually by the pandemic – for other commitments. Even so, in the face to face, López Obrador has said: “Let’s seek understanding, don’t fight.”
US News reported:

Mexico has sent a diplomatic note asking the United States to suspend funding for an anti-corruption group critical of the government, President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador said on Friday.

Lopez Obrador said the formal protest was sent because of financial backing for Mexicans Against Corruption and Impunity (MCCI), a group that investigates political corruption. The president says the group is seeking to undermine his government.

“It’s interference, it’s interventionism, it’s promoting coup plotters,” said Lopez Obrador, describing funding that includes money from the U.S. Agency for International Development, commonly known as USAID, as an affront to Mexico’s sovereignty.

“That’s why we’re asking that (the U.S. government) clarifies this for us. A foreign government can’t provide money to political groups.”

Lopez Obrador was later asked if he believed the U.S. government was seeking to remove him from office, and he responded that he did not believe that was the case.

Lopez Obrador, who has touted his good relations with both the previous Trump administration and the current Biden administration, was speaking shortly before a call with U.S. Vice President Kamala Harris about immigration.

MEXICO CITY (Reuters) - Mexico has sent a diplomatic note asking the United States to suspend funding for an anti-corruption group critical of the government, President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador said on Friday.

Lopez Obrador said the formal protest was sent because of financial backing for Mexicans Against Corruption and Impunity (MCCI), a group that investigates political corruption. The president says the group is seeking to undermine his government.

"It's interference, it's interventionism, it's promoting coup plotters," said Lopez Obrador, describing funding that includes money from the U.S. Agency for International Development, commonly known as USAID, as an affront to Mexico's sovereignty.

"That's why we're asking that (the U.S. government) clarifies this for us. A foreign government can't provide money to political groups."

On its website, MCCI lists USAID among its financial backers, which it says in total number more than 1,000 donors.

Governments around the world from India to Cuba have at times bristled against funding of organizatons they feel to be politically motivated by international foundations or the U.S. government.

In the one-page diplomatic note, reviewed by Reuters, the Mexican foreign ministry said it supported the "essential" work of civil society organizations and the corruption fight, but said MCCI was a political actor.

The ministry asked the United States to consider suspending the funding.
Lopez Obrador won a landslide election victory nearly three years ago largely on a promise to root out rampant corruption.

After Lopez Obrador threatened to send the diplomatic note on Thursday, the group posted on Twitter that its work was completely legal.

Oh, you mean the Cartels? Same thing really.

Lotsa kick-back I'm sure. 120K humans a month time upwards of $25K per - pretty soon that adds up to be real change.

Enough maybe for Biden to buy himself another house.

And those families can't usually pay, so they must earn it back

= indentured servitude, slavery.

The illegals wear wristbands to classify them, given to them by tbe cartels

Paid
Not paid
She's cute...

Folks pay attention to the illegals you can see on tv and other media sources, and ask yourselves why don't you see young attractive 14-20 something year old females?

What's going on is a humanitarian crisis of epic magnitude.

You want to end kids being tossed over the wall? End chain migration immediately, and it'll stop.

That simple. Kids who are unaccompanied will be allowed to stay, then can petition for parents later and get 1st tier priority.

Didn't they start on some kind of barrier on their southern border?

I bet Texas would contribute to one at the Rio Grande.

The messicans might get something done.

It was easy for her to mouth off on a subject when all she had to do was pander to her lefty friends and someone else had to deal with a problem. Not so easy to actually have to find an actual solution to the problem
Diplomacy is an "assembly" process.

True diplomacy involves planning, preparing the material, finding or drilling a hole, putting the parts together with a screw, and tightening. Some "glue" helps too.

Kamala's diplomacy is a hammer and nail.

And we wonder why the wood split.

[QUOTE... he has added the rudeness of communicating to Kamala Harris that she was not going to stay for the entire meeting – held virtually by the pandemic – for other commitments. ][/QUOTE]

Kamala is the perfect real world example of affirmative action. I've seen its results with Universities and State Agencies I've worked at under contract for decades.

Individuals "installed" into jobs with authority that are not just incapable but down right dangerous. Hired only because they fill the numbers quota for that day. They screw up everything they touch, usually drive off any capable individuals that were keeping the place running and ruin the work environment.

Everyone of them are so stupid and self-centered they honestly believe they are the smartest person in the world and treat others very badly. Nothing but failures behind them, they never see the results and when challenged with the facts immediately go into their "your racists/sexist/etc." act. Temper tantrums and stupidity are their trademark.

This madness of stopping everything that was working just because it was associated with Trump, has ended up like the southern border - a sh*t storm of a mess!

It wouldn't be a bit surprising for historians to someday find that the deep state, the demon-crats AND Rinos were corrupt and getting rich from payoffs and kickbacks from these drug cartels they've enabled with their policies.

OMG, she is going to start a war with Mexico too
And there's no General Pershing with people like Patton in his command nowadays to be found. Being another politician's war, the most likely result would be getting our asses kicked by the cartels and losing a lot more kids to some meaningless POS war.

This one will be on US soil.

It won't just be military involved.
