Many, many gun transactions are face-to-face.

How would "they" know what he owns? :shr: "They" don't know what I own. "They" may know what I once owned, but I've sold many over the years.
Not going to get into a contest with you. "They" know. We all know they know. Yes, there are some cold pieces out there but every NICS check has never been deleted. They'll just demand you turn over all you have. On record and otherwise. If they want you, they have you. It will just be your turn or time.

I had a relative ask if the firesticks someone owns are registered. She actually thought a person had to register them with the state or Fed.

No need for a "contest" when just a simple answer will suffice. NICS checks only indicate ORIGINAL OWNER. There's no legal transfer protocol anywhere that I'm aware of. How can they KNOW what ANYONE currently owns or possesses? If I sold my shotgun decades ago (and I did), I can't shit them the piece when they come knocking.

I'd love to give you all that I have. But it's all at the bottom of the nearest river. Where? Who knows? Those rivers move so gee-golly fast they could be halfway to a lake by now. Or buried under silt. I got no clue. Have a nice day, jackboot!

Would *I* Lie???
he needs to point them out, name them, state their address, and ask on the public record, WHAT GUNS DO YOU OWN? You, Rep Nancy pelosi, who lives at XXXXX CA, WHAT GUNS DO YOU OWN? O NTHE RECORD, PLEASE?

Point several out, lightly dox their public info, and ask them to WALK THE WALK.

I hate f*cking hypocrits. And all dems are hypos!

In the last few years many states have enacted laws making it a crime to fail to report a firearm stolen or missing.

They did so because of the boating accidents "years ago"

They may know the legal ones. But lots of luck finding the millions of unregistered.
Again, they know the ORIGINAL OWNER of EVERY DEALER PURCHASED firearm for decades, but once the original owner sells, trades, or destroys the unit, their "non-registration" records are obsolete and substantially useless....as it should be.

Well, that's the funny thing. It's not stolen. The river didn't take it. It's not missing, either. It's somewhere in the river.

I keep getting intrigued by gunowners positive that the gov is going to beat down their doors looking for illegal guns. Really?

Here is how they will do it. To get my meaning across, I will go worst case, a stacked SCOTUS that determines that the Original Intent of the 2nd Amend was flintlocks.

All modern weapons are now banned, $10,000 and 10 yrs in the slammer if caught.

So what do you so? Absolutely nothing. You hear your nubile daughter screaming, grab your Schmeisser and run to her room to find somebody trying to run his cold clammy hands all over her hot shivering body.

You point your gun and he grins all the way to his back teeth and says;

Unless you hide my corpse, shooting me gets you 10 ys in the slammer.

And vaults out the window he came in,.

Next day, cops with a search warrant. They got a tip that you have firearms.. . . . . . . .

That is how it is going to work if not stopped. And to do that, you have to capture enough legislatures to make sure voting is legit and the right people get into the Federal gov. Otherwise, my 1857 caplock revolver will be illegal and I would sure hate to have that happen.

There are not going to be hordes of Blue Helmeted UNO types kicking in your door as you go down in a blaze of gunfire. As shown above, no reason to.

You can STOP right there. They've already proven themselves disinterested in performing their constitutionally mandated duties. They're irrelevant now too.

Irrelevant? What they say is the law. We are stuck with it.

That they have already proven by their actions "the law" is two tiered places their interpretation in the same category as the edicts put forth by an occupying power. The confusion comes from the fluidity of that tier structure's application at the moment.

Unless they pass the bills they have in the wings. Then you (and me) become outlaws.

Plan accordingly

Cheese and rice! Do you post just to needle people? If you sold your shotgun decades ago, that's a cold piece. That's what I meant.

They may decide to have a look around your place and have you show them your safe where no guns are. That kind of thing. Think it can't happen? Think they don't have you on a list? Lmao!

That's right, years ago I bought a shot gun from a cousin whose son gave it to him. I possibly don't have that any more because of my boating accident. Now prove that.

God is good all the time
