I have put this in the video category but the video does not move over with the story. Click on the link to hear/watch this amazing young woman and what she is able to do. It will inspire you.

A heart-wrenching story of a baby born without arms or legs, facing rejection by her own parents, but living out her divine purpose from God, is going to leave you inspired and encouraged today.

Amy Brooks was born with an extremely rare condition called Tetraphocomelia where she did not have arms or legs. Dr Michael Alexander tried to convince Amy’s mother to accept her but she said, no.

Her biological parents abandoned her at the hospital and asked the staff if they could “put her in a room and not feed her.”

She believes that something happens when we stop acting like a victim and start showing up to offer God what we are. She says each and every one of us is born with a holy and divine purpose.

She says, “God doesn’t make mistakes” and that even though she wasn’t meant to be here she is here. She is a joyful, exuberant, and faithful Christian whose vision is to glorify Christ by testifying to the unbeliever of His saving grace and by bringing encouragement to those who already know Him.
What a motivation Amy Brooks is to the whole world, through her never say die attitude and faith in God she is impacting all of us in a powerful way.

Yup. Jackson W. Armstrong was correct in his assessment of the basic radio audience, "Remember, your audience is basically low rent." said to a friend of mine at college who did an interview with him, for our station. That interview was put together by Jon Wofort, half of JAMS Jingles of Dallas.

Jon's wife was still at Potsdam State while I got to Clarkson. At which point Jon was working with Bill Meeks at PAMS, and soon to be buried by JAMS.

Back about 1950, there was a girl at my university who was born without arms. She could write with her feet and do other tasks with them you could not imagine.

Un-spun
Lots of people out there with various serious birth defects, who are managing quite well. I have a casual, and admittedly morbid interest in the subject, so related YouTubes come up regularly in the feed. Most of them are uplifting.

Definitely puts one's own problems into perspective.

But how does she go to the bathroom and wipe herself and eat food and drink water? I doubt she lives alone. With all of our technology why can't they outfit her with artificial legs and arms?

That’s what I thought. She must have a full time caregiver.

I think some stumps or stubs to hook onto are essential if the goal is more than appearance. The movie "Boxing Helena" (skipping out on it bankrupted Kim Basinger) would be instructive here.
