An internal FBI memo is warning of plans for armed protests in all 50 state capital cities ahead of President-elect Joe Biden’s Inauguration, Fox News has learned.

A federal law enforcement source told Fox News that an internal bureau memo is warning that the protests could be before, on, and after Inauguration Day.

The memo comes as Fox News has learned the FBI has received more than "40,000 digital media tips, including video and photos, from the public" regarding participants in last week’s Capitol riot.

Sources told Fox News on Sunday that the FBI visited extremists prior to the Jan. 6 pro-Trump rally and Capitol riot, urging them not to travel to Washington D.C.

It is unclear, at this point, how many extremists were contacted and how far in advance of Jan. 6.

It has crossed my mine that to put the final nail in our coffin and a Segway into gun confiscation laws, this would be a perfect time for a FF. With the speed and momentum things are going, I wouldn't expect them not to go all out..

FBI Warns Of "Armed Protests" Across Nation As 15,000 National Guard Deployed To Capitol

Update (1301 ET): Politico's Lara Seligmandit reports Gen. Hokanson, chief of the National Guard Bureau, said the US Department of Defense had approved a plan to increase Guard troops in the Washington Metropolitan Area by 9,000, for a total of 15,000 to support the inauguration.

BREAKING: Gen. Hokanson, chief of the National Guard Bureau, says DOD has been authorized to provide up to 15,000 guardsmen to support the inauguration.

Deployment of Guard troops in DC come in the wake of deadly riots at the Capitol building last Wednesday and ahead of the Presidential Inauguration on Jan. 20 that could incite another wave of violence.

In a separate report, ABC News cites a report from the FBI that armed protests are being planned at all 50 state capitols ahead of Jan. 20. The agency notes far-right, anti-government, Boogaloo group, could be planning violence ahead of the inauguration.

ABC's Aaron Katersky said the FBI has "received information about an identified armed group intending to travel to Washington, DC on Jan. 16. They have warned that if Congress attempts to remove POTUS via the 25th Amendment a huge uprising will occur."

Katersky said, "A group is calling for "storming" state, local, and federal government courthouses and administrative buildings in the event President Trump is removed prior to Inauguration Day."

As no less than 6,000 National Guard troops arrive in the Washington Metropolitan Area within the next 24 hours to beef up security around the US Capitol complex, moments ago the National Parks Service said that it was "temporarily" closing the Washington Monument and other public spaces in DC due to "credible threats to visitors and park resources" as "groups involved in the Jan. 6, 2021 riots at the US Capitol continue to threaten to disrupt the 59th presidential inauguration on Jan. 20."

The shutdown will begin on Jan 11 and will remain in effect through Jan 24, "but may be extended if conditions persist." The Park service explained that the "temporary closures are not of a nature, magnitude or duration that will result in a 'significant alteration in the public use pattern'."

It was unclear how the Park Service had determined that the those involved in the Jan 6 riots remains "credible threats."

How nice it would be to see D.C. turned into a military armed camp (which is now happening) and then nothing happens. I mean is Biden worth taking a risk for? He's not going to be around long anyway. Interesting that the left wants to impeach Trump for inciting an insurrection while the dems have actually pulled off an insurrection. Spending a lot of time praying hoping to keep the top of my head from exploding.

And just what is the correct response. I am tired of hearing the same BS over and over. Mountains of evidence has been uncovered to PROVE fraud has been committed on a massive scale. Trumps team tried to resolve the issue on the state level but the states refused to act. They then tried to resolve it on the federal level with the scotus and they to refused to act. And last they tried to resolve it in the house and again the majority refused to act.

So I would really like someone to tell me and everyone else what the next course of action should be. What those who keep saying stay calm or they will come after you or your rights are really saying is bend over and take it in the a## for the next four years and then you can try to make a change at the ballot box.

But the fact remains if they can get away with stealing this election do you really think they will not steal the next and the next and the next... As far as them going after you or your rights is concerned do you really believe they are not going to be working overtime to stick to everyone who opposed their communist agenda anyway?

Riding roughshod into a hail of bullets.....not considered the smartest choice. However, continuing to wait until a victory is assured leads to a uncontested victory for the other side.

The truth of the matter is for evil to prevail good men must do nothing. Men with the self righteous moral code to not commit violence for any reason are always defended by men who are willing to commit violence against those who oppose them.

I was at the Kansas capital Jan. 6th & I will attend again. If I am alive in the future when asked what did you do when they stole the election? I will not answer with I was waiting for a risk free time or event that I could publicly show my support for President Trump.

Flame me, blame me, ridicule me I don't care. I will not stand by & let others take my place for safety's sake. I served in the Infantry for 11 years. I stared across the border at East Germany as well as North Korea watching them watching us. I went into Iraq & then Kuwait clearing bunkers & doing the job. I am disabled living in pain everyday. How can I preach about being a patriot trying to inspire our youth but, tell them "oh don't go there it's too dangerous we'll wait for the next opportunity."

President Trump has put his personal safety, entire family & fortune on the line but, let's only support him when it is convenient. I have stood up for friends in bar room brawls that started over an insult....I think blatantly stealing the vote to over throw our government implanting a known shill for China has a lot more merit than any fight I have ever been involved with.

I still have my Trump sign up & the Gadsen flying for all to see. I even post on facebook my interview at the Jan. 6th protest & tell lefties to turn me in for any bounty that might be offered.

Some of you may recall that I thought Trump's November 6th rally was (potentially) a trap and saw no good coming from it (as an aside, I thought that rally was tactically a big mistake).

Now, as to the idea of nationwide armed protests, I think - if they are in fact planned by anyone and not a false flag planted in the media - that these would be an even bigger mistake. Why? Allow me to explain:

I live in southern Mississippi, which is civil and generally gun-friendly. I'm former law enforcement and have a concealed carry permit. Now, it would be perfectly legal for me to grab a rifle and walk through the downtown area of my small town, but it would also be perfectly legal for the police to stop me and ask me what I was doing. I could - again - legally refuse to answer them if I wanted to be an ass, but that would serve no good purpose and make everyone's life unnecessarily more difficult. All legal, legal, legal, right?

But laws are different in different states or municipalities and it might not be legal to openly display a weapon in some locations. The cops might have an obligation to stop you and possibly arrest you. Even if it's legal to display your weapon there are countless caveats to such legalities. You could appear to be "suspicious," which covers a huge amount of ground and usually gives police a right (and obligation) to investigate. You might inadvertently 'sweep' someone in the crowd, which could be construed as aggravated assault - and on and on and on.

Finally, if the cops are confronted by hundreds or thousands of armed protesters, you can bet they're going to be scared (though they won't admit this) and will look for any excuse to jack you up. This will probably be on orders from the highest authorities in their chain of command.

So, in closing, as a practical matter, no good is going to come from your public display of weapons at a protest. Don't do it! I personally haven't heard of any plans to have an armed demonstration at my state capitol and my immediate suspicion would be that it was coordinated by our enemies to do further damage to the gun folks. Want to demonstrate? Great! Want to do it while carrying your rifle or shotgun? Probably a really stupid idea.

No nothing different. The democrats / communists are frantically trying to discredit and ostracize real Americans and are trying hang Trump, almost literally. I think that those who make such decisions want to send Trump to prison will go to any lengths to see that happen.

My opinion is not earth shattering or that far fetched - I think so anyway.
