I only recently returned to this community, after more than a decade hiatus.
But I came back here because this is where I had always felt a sense of belonging.
I was here in the pre Y2K madness that this came from.
I hope I am back in the right place and not moving backwards.
I'm here a lot lately.

You're home among friends and family. Who knows what the future holds. I do know we'll either make it or die trying.

There's no real sense in us "getting played." At best, it's minor cruelty. At worst, it's a distraction. And it's a distraction that wears off if Trump is thrown out.

I think it will play out. I don't think DT would purposely play us. What would he reap? What country would he have to move to after "playing us", cuz he could not live in the US anymore after that.

I went to work at the US Army John F. Kennedy Special Warfare Center in the 1980s. I went there because I wanted to know more about what made things work in my world, and this was as close to cutting edge as I could get as a working librarian. I left a state job at the Alabama Public Library Service and went to work for the fedgov at the Aviation Center Library at Fort Rucker, AL, then moved to Main Post Library at Fort Bragg as steps along the way to get there.

So, read the short history below and tell me how long I have suspected or known we were getting played.

History

The U.S. Army John F. Kennedy Special Warfare Center and School, or SWCS, dates back to 1950, when the U.S. Army developed the Psychological Warfare (PSYWAR) Division of the Army General School, Fort Riley, Kan.

The U.S. Army Psychological Warfare Center and School, a unique organization with operational tactical units and a school under the same umbrella, moved to Fort Bragg from Fort Riley, Kan. in April 1952. In 1956, the PSYWAR Center and School was renamed the U.S. Army Center for Special Warfare/U.S. Army Special Warfare School. The school was given the responsibility to develop the doctrine, techniques, training and education of Special Forces and Psychological Operations personnel.

In 1960, the school's responsibilities expanded to counterinsurgency operations. In 1962, the Special Warfare Center established an SF Training Group to train enlisted volunteers for operational assignments within the SF groups. The Advanced Training Committee was formed to explore and develop sophisticated methods of infiltration and exfiltration. On May 16, 1969, the school was renamed the U.S. Army Institute for Military Assistance. The curriculum was expanded to provide training in high-altitude, low-opening (HALO) parachuting and SCUBA operations. The institute comprised the SF School, Psychological Operations, Military Assistance Training Advisors School, Counter-Insurgency School, Unconventional Warfare School and Department of Non-Resident Training.

On April 1, 1972, the U.S. Army Civil Affairs School was transferred from Fort Gordon, Ga., to Fort Bragg, operating under the center's umbrella. In 1973, the center was assigned to the new U.S. Army Training and Doctrine Command, or TRADOC.

On June 1, 1982, the Chief of Staff of the Army approved the separation of the center as an independent TRADOC activity under the name U.S. Army John F. Kennedy Special Warfare Center. The SWC integrated special operations into the Army systems, training and operations, becoming the proponent school for Army Special Operations Forces.

In 1985, SWCS was recognized as the U.S. Army John F. Kennedy Special Warfare Center and School. The major change at this time was the establishment of six training departments: Special Forces; Special Operations Advanced Skills; Survival, Evasion, Resistance and Escape; Foreign Area Officer; Civil Affairs and Psychological Operations. A few years later, the Noncommissioned Officer Academy was instituted. In 1989, SWCS was restructured following the establishment of a training-group and three training battalions with one support battalion.

On June 20, 1990, SWCS was reassigned from TRADOC to the U.S. Army Special Operations Command. This designation gave USASOC control of all components of SOF, with the exception of forward-deployed units. Throughout the 1990s and into the 21st century, the primary SWCS mission has been to fill the force with quality special-operations Soldiers.

Weeks or months ago (election seems so far away now...), I said here in rough words that I'll just let things play through, as I'm just a watcher for what the black and white hats are doing to the U.S.
With that in mind, today is January 10.
10 more days and we'll know whether JB gets the throne, or DT changes the course of history. It may even happen in less than 10 days (history takes a hard-right turn, pun intended). I'm fine just watching/reading and surfing all these sub-radar websites that would get me kicked of Twitter/FB if I had user IDs there, which I never have. They keep me informed and sometimes entertained.

I try to hone my discernment by spending a lot of time in my sacred space, listening to the man upstairs...A lot of times that helps. I also make sure to do a lot of self care, such as good eating, sleeping, and exercising, in order to keep myself, and my connection strong...

Here, as everywhere, there will be a continuum of thoughts and opinions. I use the old adage that if there is flak overhead, there is a reason, most likely due to something being close to the target.

Here's a question: What is the consequence to you and yours if something you read is true? What is the consequence if something you read is false? Triage from there, and accept that we have no choice but to live with ambiguity and uncertainty. Let the cold hard WCS take shape in your mind in bits and pieces, as you can handle it, interspersed with mental health breaks as needed...

However, we are at least getting something out of the deal.

the Democrats are coming out showing their true colors. They are doing everything they said Trump was going to do.

And there can no longer be any doubt where your Democrat Relatives and Friends stand.

That is something of value.

Lets recap. What exactly did Trump do? Compare that to the riots incited by Pelosi, Harris, and the rest.
Portland was shut down, Seattle had an independent country declared in their downtown, New York was boarded up, the list of cities and the destruction is too great to list.

Pelosi is calling for the 25th, calling for impeachment, tried to usurp the Joint Chiefs. Parler is shut down.

What has Trump done?

All of this is evidence. It is truth. Who is getting played? Who is doing the playing?

I’ve been around here for a long time. Sometimes I get caught up in the woo and kick myself for spending so much time on something I can’t control. But, I have also learned things here, been reminded to keep my house in order and be prepared, and made friends. So, even though there are lots of crazy theories and threads around us - we won’t really know until it happens.

This is the best place to sort this 'stuff' out.

There is so much that I can't verify offline, in the real world. I'm back to saying, "I'll believe it when it happens."

I would like to believe that PDJT signed the insurrection act this morning, but I can't personally verify it. No one I've emailed or phoned can personally verify it.

That said, it's prudent to be ready for the most likely potential problems in your area.

We are always being played, or deluded. Question is, do you choose to join the game?

No, I don't want to play any games. I just want to be left alone, to do my job, to work on my goals in peace. I don't want to fight the woke crowd or be a cog in the socialist machine.

Laurelayn, I, too, was around in those early days, which seem mild and safe in retrospect. And, I, too, have been drawn to TB again just recently. It's comforting to be around the folks here who are smart enough to question the status quo and to look thoughtfully at the future. I feel safe here. And of course, some familiar names are still around.

I can tell you my ideas about what is happening but it would take pages to describe. So I'll just hit some highlights.

First, realize the nature of the times. This is a period of turmoil and upheaval. We're on a raft racing down a river, attempting to navigate dangerous rapids. We're moving so fast that we can't even see the shoreline. And we don't even know where we'lll end up.
What to do? Brace yourself mentally and emotionally for whatever may come. Touch base with the eternal peace that is within you. For me, it's my connection to God that helps.

Secondly, realize that even though we're bombarded with a torrent of so-called information every day, the truth is a rare gem. The MSM, which I call American Pravda, lies. On the other hand, there are many truthseekers on sites in alternative media, but how can we be certain that their information is reliable? How can we know for sure?
What to do? Accept that. And accept that nobody knows where all this is going. Be skeptical. Be logical. Follow your inner voice.

Thirdly, I recommend preps. Since you know this site, you know what to do to be prepared in case of ... whatever.

Above all, ignore the bleating of the sheep, the people with their "hair on fire," those who claim to *know* what will happen, and the ones telling you what you should do. Focus on yourself. Be single-minded and determined as you try to navigate through this madness to your benefit. To your benefit. Yours alone. And trust that God will inspire you to do exactly the right thing, at the right time, and in the right place.

On this note, is it true graham was perp walked? The vid of his escort where he was taken to task by some folks at the airport is rumored to be such.

Most are getting played...I say that looking at this through the lens of Bible prophecy though.

Well. If one were a Person or Group planning to take over say, a country, but you needed firm Numbers and lists of names of who the ones you consider the Enemy-those inclined not to buy the B.S. and would stand in the way.

What would you do?

Perhaps set up a Populist to work for you-one who would rally the other side so you could get the true number perhaps?

Once you have Firm numbers, lists of names and location, then let him go back to doing whatever he does after getting YOUR side ready to 'Remove' the other side.

That's getting played.

So, now that all our attention is on DC, the inauguration, the election being stolen, riots, White House invasion, what is going on that we haven't been noticing? Smoke and mirrors to deflect from something huge going on behind the scenes would be my totally uninformed guess. We the people, especially conservatives, are screwed!

Yep. been there many times. I am very much appreciating feeling part of a community right now, that is really important for many of us! Me included! Holy crap, I have been part of this forum for over 20 years. Even though I have only posted or participated a few times over the last 15 years, I feel welcome. OMG I have been a total BITCH to some here but I still feel welcome. This is a blessing beyond words for me! My own children and siblings no longer speak to me, I have been pretty lonely, like many of us have. But you all just accept me back into the fold like I am acceptable after all. I have stepped outside the box. Whatever happens my goal is to get the heck out of the City and back into a VERY rural setting.

I agree with all of the above. I think Bidet will take office because it will speed up the prophetic timeline.

I also think we are being played with all this talk of the insurrection act. I don't think Trump can do anything more to save the country, although he did try.

The military is in DC because they know the deplorables will not like what they are about to do this week (impeach Trump or remove him using the 25th amendment.)

Tons of rumors have been flying back and forth about shut downs (power grid, internet, cell service etc.) I also think we are likely getting played on that too. If a shutdown does happen, I fear that our side will sit back and say "see we were warned of this, Trump is just arresting all the traitors" but when our internet/cell service/power turns back on, we will find that the libs were removing Trump while our comms were down and we were in the dark.

I don't like sitting on my hands. At my age and station in life, I am pretty powerless. I can wade through the surface piles of information, select and repost for others information. It is like gathering points of view and descriptions of a hundred blind men experiencing different parts of the elephant. I sorta get a notional outline of the whole beast, as I understand it, as it emerges. I hope it helps you do the same even if you just scan headlines and leads.

I must admit that my understanding of the reality of government and the power structure and players in it has altered dramatically in the past 4 years. (Recall I spent 15 years representing people's interests with government as Exec. Director of 2 non-profits and another 12 as a county elected representative. So I did know some of the mysteries.)

I remember the very early days of Q listening to Dr. Corsi. What I recall now was the impression that things they had discovered were so rotten and vast, that the public wouldn't be able to accept it. It was just so much that it had to be dribbled out in small bits to be digested. Well, now it is coming at the rate of a fire hose.

If you are paying attention, you should be confused, a bit off balance, not sure who to trust or even what is the truth anymore. I can only hope, this is the big reveal and not the totalitarian boot coming down.

I think we are purposefully getting information and then misinformation so no one knows what to think, believe, do, etc. This can often paralyze people into doing nothing not knowing WHAT to do or who to believe.

Look at what is happening though (huge big tech censoring free speech, DC filling with Natl Guard, rumors everywhere) ..... I think SOMEthing big is happening. Time to ensure you and your immediate family are prepared as best you can. I mean that’s why we are all here ya know. We should be already be prepared.

Hopefully when the dust settles, the good guys are all still standing.

Its hard work to find out the objective truth in any human endeavor in history................people here I believe are attempting to do that albeit with most posters having a preference towards a conservative constitutional bias but never the less are willing to search for the truth no matter what rabbit hole it takes us down...................

Speaking of that........did anyone see 60 minutes segment last night regarding the interview with the GA state count...............are Trump attorneys playing conservatives in that narrative?....................I found that interview and the video shown very disconcerting based on what we've been told by conservatives on the right all along..................

I want to know the truth not just what feeds my position on the subject......................what are your thoughts if you saw that?

Maybe we are being played, maybe not (It appears we are though).

Until something happens, get up, go to work (or do retired things), pay your bills on time, avoid conflict on social media or in person, work on projects around the house, garden if you can, help your neighbors with their projects or needs, worship and have faith. Sleep at least 6 to 8 hours a night and eat a healthy diet, drink plenty of water.

Nothing else to do unless the train actually comes off the rails. Keep yourself informed and stay prepared, but don't let all of this keep you from living a good life, our years are too short. When the time comes (if it does), react quickly and decisively also have back up plans for your back up plans.

Stay grey, listen and learn, know what your enemy is up to. Exposing yourself as the enemy is a bad thing early in the game. Blend in and make yourself just another member of the community. If asked, tell them politics sure isn't your thing, this year only proves why. :-)
