Hmm, I just bought my 8th HK 38 Special/357 Magnum speed loader, carried in 4 double belt pouches, plus an Uncle Mikes outer belt, and an Uncle Miles inner belt on back order. I am ordering a 45 20 gauge bandolier belt, plus my 2 Uncle Mikes belt holsters size 0 and size 2.
The bottom line Northern Watch is Doomer Doug now carries on his body 2 revolvers, 2 speed strips with 12 rounds, 8 speed loaders with 48 rounds, for 72 ready rounds along with 100 more in 50 round plastic boxs.
I got my mail ballot today, will fill it out tonight and drop it in the drop box one block away in Pioneer Square. When the killing starts on the third or 4th, I will either add my 20 gauge, or my AR-15 and wait for total chaos to break out. :)

I have read all of Bracken's books and pay attention to his articles. I will make sure I listen to this before bed for excellent nightmares. Sleeping is boring without good dreams.
You should as basically this is what I have been hearing for 6 months now.

Do you have snap caps? I ordered 24 of them. I work with rapid double-action fire (random spaced targets in the garage) and then speed reload. It takes a lot of muscle memory to not jumble the reload. Using .38spcl seems to be more accurate - less round wobble. I attribute that to the shorter OAL.

8 speedloaders? I only ever had six - for a J frame at that. When I shot the Polite Society match in 2012 at Rangemaster in Memphis, I had to teach the range crew how to load speedloaders - they'd never seen one before. They were used to loading magazines ... which they did for the other shooters.

The timer went down on me in the first stage and I had to shoot it over again - and therefore had to buy another box of ammo from the Pro Shop since I only brought the 100 rounds required.

Ever seen a 642 shot so much so fast it was too hot to hold? :D That one was. Made reloads a bear, too.

I got one of those one vanilla visa cards you can load with $200 since I don't have a credit card and I don't want them into my checking account.
The good news is my final two speed loaders shipped TODAY so I should have them by the weekend?

The bad news is the inner Uncle Mikes is on a one month delivery delay so it won't be shipped till November 17th, and the outer one they just ordered and it will take a week or two for it to get here. Sheesh, and to top it all off I just ordered, tonight, the Mossberg 45 shotgun shell bandolier that is, get this, on a ONE TO THREE MONTH DELIVERY DELAY. No way will I get that in time for the election. Oh well, Portland reeks of evil, and everybody is buying EVERYTHING THEY CAN GET THEIR PAWS ON AS FAST AS THEY CAN NOW. I can't recall ever having up to a three month delay for shotgun bandoliers. That is a HUGELY, BIGLY DOT. May put it into the bomb shelter. It is Optics Planet out of Chicago by the way. Still, everybody else is having issues.
I bought some of the speed loaders from ShopTaurus and they had issues to. As did several other online companies I checked out. Yep, if ONLINE vendors are having these kind of delays on pretty basic shotgun stuff then don't even bother going to a gun store. It seems the JIT gun, ammo and accessory production lines are in chaos also. Uncle Mikes is now made overseas I think.

Goodness before greatness.
I am not into watching podcasts or on-line interviews. But I watched this one and I urge others to watch it also.

Actually sounds like one of our recent threads about Molotov cocktails and insurance actuaries.

Gee, I tried to use an earlier 1 Vanilla gift card at amazon and ended up with my account locked. Amazon is a cartel and imposes an absolute ban on using non amazon gift cards, something to do with spending money to read the three numbers on the back. Anywho, any sign in attempts get flagged and then I enter a real catch 22 type situation. You have to contact us, but we have made it impossible to contact us yada yada. If the system wasn't imploding into social anarchy, I might file an antitrust complaint, or notify visa that amazon was refusing to use their card etc, but you know I just don't care anymore.
So no more buying from amazon anymore. I can live with that.

My current load out has twenty fmcs in double belt pouches, four in pockets, and of course, one in each weapon... 208rds all up. Power, speed, accuracy. My two Ruger Super GP100’s in .357 magnum are well fed...

Have a nice day:D!

Hi Doc! Yep, old school... There’s just something about carrying revolvers that is more comfortable for me. Having 8 beans in a wheel, power, rapid reload, and that incredible accuracy, just makes me happy... Whenever possible, I’ve always carried at least two handguns. One’s good, two’s better... Bein’ ambidextrous is a good thing.

What’s your style, Doc?

All the Best to You and Yours!

I carry a PMR30.....30 rounds of hi powered 22 WMR ammo.
This handgun is capable of releasing a hail of lead.
Backup is a Glock 26....

Nice choices! WIth 30rds, you can afford to double-tap a perps skull... Likewise, the G26 is a delightful hideaway piece... Reliability, accuracy, and if needed, volume of fire- NICE!

Take care, Doc... Evil is rapidly approaching. You’re definitely needed, so please stay safe...

All the Best,

I used to use a Claymore bag for shotgun shells. Buckshot on one side and slugs on the other. Now Claymore bags are controlled items and not surplussed any more. Who would have thought it?
