The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention reversed course again Friday, now recommending that people get tested if they come into contact with someone who has coronavirus, even if they are asymptomatic.

"Due to the significance of asymptomatic and pre-symptomatic transmission, this guidance further reinforces the need to test asymptomatic persons, including close contacts of a person with documented SARS-CoV-2 infection," the CDC's updated guidance says.

Close contact means coming "within 6 feet of a person with documented SARS-CoV-2 infection for at least 15 minutes." The CDC also recommends that even if you test negative, you should still self-isolate for two weeks because a "single negative test does not mean you will remain negative at any time point after that test."

This is the second time that the CDC has reversed course on their testing policy.

On August 26th, the agency ignited a controversy when it changed its guidance to say that asymptomatic individuals do not need to be tested, even if they came into close contact with someone who has coronavirus.

The reversal Friday moves the CDC back in line with its original guidance.

The CDC says it bases its guidance and recommendations on "what is currently known about COVID-19 and are subject to change as additional information becomes available."

Some lawmakers speculated that political appointees within the Trump administration pushed the first change in policy for political reasons. New York Governor Andrew Cuomo said the decision was about politics, not science.

The New York Times reported Thursday that the first change in policy was made by officials at the Department of Health and Human Services, not scientists at the CDC.

How the living hell would I KNOW if I came in contact with someone with the virus - IF they were ALSO asymptomatic?

And for that matter - when you keep telling people every week that they should do the opposite - why should ANYONE pay attention to the crap they're spewing? Or have they been tasked with making the whole population insane or frustrated out of their minds?

I've been curious and learned stuff my whole life and have forgotten more crap than these people have ever known or will know.
Since I will never be able to acquire HCQ, I will depend on Ivermection. I have pour on for the chickens.

The are lining up the pieces for another hard lockdown . The money system is about to crash hard and there will be bank holidays and store closures. There will be panic.

Another bioweapon will probably be released- sick and dead people don't revolt so much.

Standard issue HCQ has recently become inexpensively available to J6P, IF you bother to look around a bit . . .

Ivermectin + azrithomycin/doxycycline + zinc + liposomal Vitamin C should be an adequate back-up alternative treatment, too.

Basically they are ginning up the numbers to make the number of deaths higher to add to the scare value.

It is not hidden, nor obscured, from discovery - more than a couple/four legitimate sources, though if made public on this board, could result in extra scrutiny from the communist health regulatory PTB folks, with an agenda to fulfill - or, instantly out of stock, once again, because every non-member Tom, Dick and Harry TB2K lurker grabs at that brass ring.

If they start to irradiate our food, and the talk about it goes back several years- they better not- people would be in a real world of hurt.

It would denature everything, killing enzymes, and added radiation content. This has been added to the things I pray against...I had it come to mind yesterday...sigh.

I have avoided irradiated foods. If fruit has been irradiated, the number on the produce sticker starts with 8. It is not too common. I have seen "crazy 8" (I call it) stickers on produce at the Mexican grocery store.

If they start doing it, labeling it or not, that would be really sick.

The CDC/FDA are nothing more than the governmental offices of big pharma. Just research the revolving door of who's who in each of those monsters.

Glad we got in under the old regulations. Our 50 year old son and his family live across the lane from us and we interact virtually every day. My wife or I take the 10 year old grandson to school every day and I walk over about every evening to shoot the breeze with our son. 14 days ago yesterday he complained of his sinus infection making him tired and his wife (she is a nurse in the ER in the big town east of us) made him go get tested. He was positive. The doctor told him to quarantine at home with his family for 14 days but said they did not need to be tested. The DIL got tested when she felt ill and also tested positive. The 10 year old GS got the same tiredness 2 days later and his mother 3 days later. That was their only symptom but it made them feel exhausted. My son's fatigue lasted 4 days, 2 days for the 10 year old, and 3 days for the mother. The 14 year old never got any symptoms (yet). Wife and I always take the 2 boys out Sunday evening for a sandwich and did so last Sunday, so this is seven days without either of us feeling ill but as much contact as we had I can't see how we missed it. Son was out of quarantine Friday and cleared to go to work tomorrow. The boys are cleared to go to school Wednesday and the DIL is on vacation until Friday. All feeling normal now.

They've been studying SARS-1 for over 15 years and corona in general since its discovery...CDC should be put under NASA...never a straight answer! So tired of their nonsensical social experimentation!!
