BRKG RUTH BADER GINSBURG DEAD (9/18/20)

Isn’t it interesting that she could hold on so long until now, right before the election. The most opportune time to invigorate the slobbering left. Not 2 months ago, not 5 months ago, not a year ago, what absolute amazing timing.... :kaid:
PS: and on Friday night as well.....

I think they kept her full of the magic drugs, but God will not be mocked. It was her time to go. Even with all their potions and lotions, the human body can only hold on for so long. As some have suggested, I think her warranty expired about six months ago, but through the "better life with chemistry" we were graced with her evil a little longer.

This too shall pass.
The news is saying that she died from cancer?!?

She's 87 years old. This seems kinda stupid to claim it's cancer.

My grandfather was ninety when he died, and he died of cancer. If he hadn't had the cancer, he was otherwise healthy and strong, and could have lived several more years. My grandmother was 97 when she died, and there was nothing wrong with her at all other than congestive heart failure. She didn't die of old age, she died of congestive heart failure. I don't know about RBG, if she had anything else wrong with her or not. But if the cancer was her only health problem, then yes, she died of cancer. Just being old doesn't kill you.

Behold, I am coming soon.
Fox reporting that McConnell has released statement that Senate will vote on a Trump nominee.

Reporters doubtful that they can get it done before the election.

Why?

1. nominate
2. conduct circus for 2 days
3. Committee vote next day.
4 Full Senate vote next day.

I count 5 days.

All the big news honchos have already left for their weekends. This caught them all be surprise.

Exactly!

The "A-Team" is off for the weekend and the interns are at the helm on the weekend.

The weekends are dedicated to info-commercials and sports programming.

Actual news gathering is a fond memory of the past.

Even with pre-recorded heartfelt eulogies to Ginsburg, the networks were still slow to respond.

I'll speculate that many local affiliates were loath to give up so much commercial time. Our local Fox affiliate snapped back to "TMZ" as fast as they could. Well before other stations ended their Ginsburg coverage.

Trump needs to put a spotlight on any repubs that refuse to vote on a nominee.......vote them out
And let’s think this thru. Too late to replace them on this year’s ballot so by “voting them out” you would be giving their seats to the Democrats and thus giving the Senate to the Democrats. Are we sure that is what we would want?

Yea, I understand that the RINOs being voted out are basically Democrats anyway, but still...
