Wall of Moms' protect Portland's BLM protesters
•Jul 22, 2020

Guardian News UK

A group of hundreds of mothers have attended demonstrations and stood as a human barricade between Black Lives Matter protesters and federal officers in Portland after seeing videos circulating online of federal agents in camouflage snatching demonstrators off the streets.
Real moms dont go to riots or protect Marxists.

Protesters blocked the highway and someone tried to drive through them. A protester in the group tried to shoot the driver and ended up hitting another protester. It's the first "real" event in Colorado as most of our protests have been pretty boring on the whole, if you are watching for action. Usually music festivals with a purpose kind of thing. Tensions escalated a bit last week with the counter protest for the Back the Blue event. I guess we are officially part of the party now. Yippy :(

LIVE - Seattle Police Declare Riot After Protesters Set Fire to Construction Site
•Started streaming 90 minutes ago

Summit Properties NW

SEATTLE - Seattle Police have declared Saturday's protest a riot and deployed so called less lethal munitions as a group of protesters clash with police. While some protesters are clashing with police, many others have remained peaceful. Police say a group has launched rocks and explosives at officers at the intersection of 11th Avenue and East Pine Street. Police say at least 16 protesters have been arrested for assault on officers, obstruction and failure to disperse. At least three officers have been injured. Police say one officer was taken to the hospital for a leg injury caused by an explosive, two other officers were treated and returned to duty. A group of more than 1,000 protesters gathered on the campus of Seattle Central College in Capitol Hill around 1 p.m. Saturday in support of Portland protesters. This Day In History The group rallied at the college on the intersection of East Pine Street and Broadway before marching past the Seattle Police East Precinct at East Pine Street and 12th Avenue. The protest made it's way south towards the Central District of Seattle where the group stopped at the site of the King County Juvenile Detention Facility. A demonstrator threw some sort of incendiary device into a window of a construction trailer at the youth jail on East Jefferson Street and 12th Avenue, causing the trailer to catch on fire. Seattle Fire says a total of five trailers caught on fire. Police say they have received reports of groups breaking out windows at businesses along 12th avenue as well as windows of vehicles and a King County court facility. Because of the damage caused, police are now calling the protest a riot. Several arrests have been made. Police say pepper spray and flash bangs have been used to disperse the crowds, but they have not used tear gas, an order Chief Carmen Best issued Saturday morning.

As riots flare-up across the country, this summer, one has to wonder- who will win? Will law and order prevail, or will the forces of chaos takeover? At what point will Joe Six Pack and Suzie Homemaker rise-up, or will they stay dormant? Can you see the future?

Alameda County Superior Courthouse set on fire by agitators during Oakland protest
Alameda County Superior Courthouse set on fire by agitators during Oakland protest
by: Associated Press
Posted: Jul 26, 2020 / 07:35 AM PDT / Updated: Jul 26, 2020 / 07:19 PM PDT

A protest in Oakland, California, in support of racial justice and police reform turned violent when a small group of demonstrators wearing helmets and goggles and carrying large signs that doubled as shields set fire to a courthouse, vandalized a police station and shot fireworks at officers, authorities said.

About 700 demonstrators participated in what started as a peaceful march Saturday night but then some broke from the larger group and smashed windows, spray-painted graffiti and pointed lasers at officers, said Officer Johnna Watson, an Oakland Police Department spokesperson.

Several fires were set in the downtown area, including one at the Alameda County Superior Courthouse that was quickly contained. Demonstrators hurled rocks, ceramic paint-filled balls and frozen water bottles through windows at the courthouse, federal building and police building in a raucous night that was unlike peaceful marches that have taken place in the city in recent weeks, Watson said.

“This was different,” Watson said. “This group of protesters had specific intentions to participate in one way or another — whether that’s carrying backpacks in with clearly very heavy items, and the smaller group would actually be engaged in doing the damage — there is a nexus with all of the attendees.”

Police made several arrests but did not provide details. There were no immediate reports of injuries to protesters or officers or immediate cost estimates of the vandalism, Watson said.
The protest began earlier Saturday evening with groups such as the “Wall of Moms,” similar to a group that formed in Portland, Oregon, as protesters faced off with U.S. agents deployed to that city to guard a federal courthouse. President Donald Trump had sent the federal agents there to clamp down on protests that have occurred nightly since the death of George Floyd in Minneapolis on May 25.

A violent protests also broke out late Saturday in Sacramento. After a peaceful demonstration, police said a separate group of 150 protesters wearing black clothing and protective gear broke windows and spray-painted graffiti.

A television news crew was assaulted and forced to leave the area and one person was arrested, police said in a statement.

In Los Angeles, police said a peaceful demonstration was disrupted Saturday when some individuals in the crowd assaulted officers and walked onto a freeway. Four officers and three demonstrators were treated for minor injuries and four people were arrested, Los Angeles police said on Twitter.

About 100 protesters gathered at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Los Angeles Saturday evening, the Federal Bureau of Prisons said in a release. Protesters broke the glass on the front entrance door and wrote graffiti on the front of the building while there for a few minutes.

The prison was secured and barricade fencing was put up, the release said. There were no serious injuries.

In Oakland, police called on demonstrators to disperse as the night wore on and little by little they did, but they said they would be back, Watson said.

“The city is here to provide safe places and safe spaces for demonstrations, for marches, for protests,” Watson said, adding that many area businesses were likely spared damage because they were already boarded up following earlier demonstrations. “However, when there is violence against the police or first responders, this makes it dangerous for everyone.”

On Sunday, Oakland Mayor Libby Schaaf warned in a statement that the vandalism could be used by Trump to justify sending federal agents to the city — a proposal that she has rejected.
“We celebrate passionate protest but Oaklanders need to know that when they attend protests after dark, they may be providing cover for agitators who are more intent on stoking civil unrest than advancing racial justice,” Schaaf said.

Violent Protest in Downtown Sacramento, But Mayor ‘Stands With Portland’ Thugs

KCRA news crew assaulted, property damaged again, spray paint tagging, and garbage left in streets

By Katy Grimes, July 26, 2020 6:05 pm

A violent protest took place in downtown Sacramento Saturday night. The Sacramento Bee did not report on the violence.

Sacramento Police Department sent out an email explaining what happened:
“This protest resulted in damage to windows, spray paint on property, and debris left in roadways. One TV news crew was also assaulted and forced to leave the area. The Sacramento Police Department police helicopter and motorcycle officers were targets of lasers being pointed at them.

At approximately 9 p.m., officers observed a separate group of approximately 150 people who had formed inside of Cesar Chavez Park. This group was wearing all black clothing, protective gear that included body armor, shields, and helmets. Officers also observed various weapons that included metal pipes and rocks. The group began marching throughout the downtown area. As the group marched there were reports of vandalism that included broken windows, damage to trees, spray-painting, and objects being moved into the roadway to create hazards. The group also spray-painted security cameras as they marched.

Officers observed one female suspect who was spray-painting City Hall. This female was arrested by officers later in the night. The female was found to be in possession of spray paint, body armor and rocks.

The investigation into this incident is still active. Based on the preliminary investigation, detectives know that protestors attending this march were told to be prepared to use a variety of tactics that could be unlawful.”

Antifa thugs pointed lasers at the Police helicopter and motorcycle officers. Three federal officers in Portland may be permanently blinded from lasers pointed at them by protesters.
Sunday, irresponsible tone deaf Sacramento Mayor Darrell Steinberg posted his support for the Portland Protesters on Twitter:

Violent protesters have been terrorizing Portland for nearly 60 days.

KCRA cameraman Mason Silva was assaulted by the protesters and punched in the face. He posted about his assault on Facebook:

“There was a protest, presumably lead by Antifa. I was told that I was not welcomed and not to shoot video. These were folks I do not recognize. No one familiar from the local BLM movement we’ve been following. Not from Sacramento. My home.”

“I am a news photographer. And a damn proud one. My reporter Stephanie & I have gone through a lot these past five months and we work hard. You can troll us all you want on social media, share the BS that’s floating around, but when it comes down to it, your local news are the ones I hope you trust. We are your community. We are with you. So don’t attack us.”
Mayor Steinberg’s Twitter feed offers no expression of horror over the assault, or even get-well-wishes for the camera crew.

By signaling his support for the violent Antifa thugs, Mayor Steinberg is opening the doors to the city and inviting in more violence.

These Antifa thug terrorists were wearing body armor and carrying weapons.
In June, The Globe reported:
“Following violence, anarchy, mass property damage, theft, robbery and vandalism during ongoing Antifa and Black Lives Matter riots, Sacramento residents have been under an 8:oo p.m. to 5:00 a.m. curfew since Monday. The rioters have ignored it.”

Steinberg Tweeted in June, “I then got on one knee and said a prayer for George Floyd, our community, and our country. #BlackLivesMatter,” including the three colors of Black Power fist emojis.
BlackHistoryMonth.png

Mayor Steinberg is too busy these days worrying about viewing Sacramento spending “through an equity lens,” and ongoing discussions about police brutality.

“Every budget decision we make, large and small, should be viewed through an equity lens. So I’m happy to say the city has added two new STEAM summer camps in neighborhoods that are often overlooked, and which will be free for low-income kids,” Steinberg posted on Twitter.

The Globe is concerned that the Antifa thugs will not stop with destroying Sacramento businesses, as they have already threatened residential neighborhoods. Steinberg’s home just South of downtown, was already the subject of a protest and a “die-in” by Antifa and BLM recently.

What will Mayor Steinberg’s “equity lens” be focused on when Antifa isn’t satisfied with his virtue signaling and starts terrorizing nearby city neighborhoods?

And this is why BLM and Antifa know they can terrorize the City of Sacramento.

Oregon Gov: ‘Occupying Force’ Of Federal Officers Leaving Portland. DHS Chief: Not Yet, We’re Not.
By Hank Berrien

Secretary of Homeland Security Chad Wolf speaks during a press conference on the actions taken by Border Patrol and Homeland Security agents in Portland during continued protests at the US Customs and Border Patrol headquarters on July 21, 2020 in Washington, DC.

On Wednesday, after Department of Homeland Security acting Secretary Chad Wolf announced a plan to reduce the presence of federal agents in Portland, Oregon, Governor Kate Brown celebrated, tweeting that “the federal government has agreed to withdraw federal officers from Portland … Starting tomorrow, all Customs and Border Protection & ICE officers will leave downtown Portland.”

Wolf, noting Brown’s oversimplification of the issue, issued a tweet an hour later clarifying what was truly happening, writing, “As I told the Governor yesterday, federal law enforcement will remain in Portland until the violent activity toward our federal facilities ends. We are not removing any law enforcement while our facilities and law enforcement remain under attack.”

Wolf added, “@Potus made clear this Administration is ready and willing to partner with state & local law enforcement to protect every American — and you see that commitment in Portland with this plan. @DHSgov will not back down from our legal duty to protect law enforcement officers and federal properties in the face of criminal behavior.”

He added one last zinger directed at Oregon state authorities: “The state of Oregon is finally agreeing to cooperate with our federal forces–exactly what we asked for since the nightly violence broke out two months ago. We’re glad Oregon is now correcting their months long error.”

Earlier Wednesday, as The Daily Wire reported, Wolf released his plan, which stated that it included a “robust presence of Oregon State Police” in downtown Portland and demanded that state and local authorities — including Portland police officers who have so far been prevented from actively engaging rioters — secure “properties and streets” surrounding the Mark O. Hatfield courthouse and other federal properties that have been “under nightly attack for the past two months.”

“The agreement allows for federal agents from the Federal Protection Service to oversee efforts at securing the courthouse prior to handoff to local authorities and gives the Department of Homeland Security the right to change their ‘force posture’ if and only if state and local authorities are able to sufficiently protect federal property,” The Daily Wire noted.

Brown has targeted President Trump before. In April 2018, when Trump announced plans to send U.S. National Guard troops to assist U.S. Border Patrol units at the United States’ southern border if they were overwhelmed by illegal immigrants, Brown huffed that as commander of her state’s National Guard unit, she would refuse to implement Trump’s order, tweeting, “I’ll say no. As Commander of Oregon’s Guard, I’m deeply troubled by Trump’s plan to militarize our border.”

View: https://twitter.com/OregonGovBrown/status/981648079932633088?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw%7Ctwcamp%5Etweetembed%7Ctwterm%5E981648079932633088%7Ctwgr%5E&ref_url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.dailywire.com%2Fnews%2Foregon-gov-occupying-force-of-federal-officers-leaving-portland-dhs-chief-not-yet-were-not%3Futm_source%3Dfacebookutm_medium%3Dsocialutm_campaign%3Dbenshapirofbclid%3DIwAR02cf80mOOhHPUXD1kvnR-lmUUDx7bSwbu9uMeN2xUnzNb9xA51q0UsN-o

“She later acknowledged that the Trump White House had not contacted her to ask her to mobilize Oregon’s troops, and that her declaration was largely preemptive,” The Daily Wire noted.

In June 2018, Brown added, “In April, I made it clear that the Oregon National Guard would not be used for political purposes along the border, or to distract from the chaos and confusion of the Trump Administration.

Ruptly is live from Portland as protesters continue to rally amid the withdrawal of federal agents from the city. Last night’s protest remained calm and without arrests. The withdrawal was announced following an agreement between local and federal officials. Portland has seen 65 consecutive days of protests, which started in late May following the death of George Floyd. They have gained traction recently after the deployment of federal officers, who have used force against protesters amid clashes.
