CHAT I'm noticing that some folks here seem to be going BEYOND the ragged edge of self-control

I've been noticing over the past couple of weeks, that multiple TBers seem to be well on their way to some kind of emotional meltdown. (You know who you are.) While I can certainly understand why this is happening (Lord knows I feel the "tug of madness" at the edges of my consciousness - heh), you've got to hang on. You'll be no good to yourselves or your loved ones if you end up sitting in a corner glassy-eyed and drooling.

Now is the time. The Fourth Turning is upon us. Revolution is in the air, and a revolution that we MUST WIN. Falling apart mentally is not a luxury any of us can afford right now. We all need to stay absolutely frosty and 100% in control. Those of you on the edge might want to unplug from the Internet for awhile and go do something else. Anything else. But not just sit here drinking from the Cup Of Doom. It's not healthy.

Hang on folks, it gets bumpy from here....

And if you haven't read the Fourth Turning (it's kind of a dry tome in places, truth be told), it's as good a time as any to read it, because you can get the sense that it's ok, folks, this is the way things have got to go about now. It's been a long time coming but it's almost reassuring that it's finally here. We know what needs to be done but not the fine details of how it's going to go down.

No need. Combine that reading with a good read of Scripture particularly through appropriate epistles of the promises (and stay away from prophecies until you get over the :hof: thing) and you should feel yourself returning to center.

Hopefully.

Maybe not appropriate for some but Dennis is right; you have to hang in there right now and keep focused.

Not all. Some are just emotionally weaker than they ideally need to be. Everyone is different. Many of us have been gaming this crap for over 20 years. Others have not, and when the cold harsh light of "IT'S HERE!!!" shines in their faces, they can't cope. It is what it is. I have to admit that I'm completely overloaded myself. I don't even read most of what I post anymore. The headline and the first paragraph look like something we need to know. Fine. I post it and walk away.

The flood of horror is just too much.

On the other hand, now is a great time for a mini meltdown. Take a day, revel in it, let it squish up between your toes-
..take a hot shower, put some sundried sheets on the bed, sleep it off..
You'll be good as new in the morning :D
(just avoid caffeine and bread. They are evil)

I am doing this way wrong folks. Maybe because I just got back from deployment so I'm hyper alert and still a little jazzed up, but this has been coming for a long damn time and I for one am glad it is here. I don't want trouble, I want peace, but if trouble is to come, let it come to me and not my kids. 15 years from now I am used up, too old to do anything. And even though I am getting a little long in the tooth, and most of you folks have watched at least one of our videos and you can attest that I am no spring chicken, but what good is a lifetime of military service and training for if not to be used when the time comes? The time is here. I will not go seeking trouble, but I promise when it comes I'm ready. The resistance is rising, everyday, can't you feel it? Can't you see it? People have had enough and with the gentlest of push-backs we are letting them know that we are ready for it too. This is a soft civil war, but it is a civil war, and I for one and damn glad that it is happening now before things went any further south for patriots.

Farm the same. Owner mowing, his wife weeding the garden. Trees down earlier and the chain-saw putting along. Plenty of gas, bar oil, mix oil. Cars going up and down the road on the other side of the stone wall. More like it was before CoVid. Jogger with his mask on training for the high altitude Olympics I guess. Several bicyclists.

Two buyers at Owner's "Honor System Cart." One with a mask and one without - separate times. There should be a few more come in before dinner time as the commuters roll in from wherever.

Not much changes around here. It doesn't have to.

Saved, to glorify God.
Sometimes you've got to just "go fishing", for at least ALL DAY, at least one day, and not give a damn whether you catch anything at all. Just sitting, sucking up fresh air and sunshine and staring at a bobber without pondering the current problems of the world will absolutely jump start your attitude and outlook.

Exercise helps with stress. And prepping for the future.

Limiting the TB time daily probably does even more, assuming you don't replace it with MSM GNUZ.

I wish I was a horse, and had all the time in the world and stand around watching humans.

I have noticed that Dobbin really talks a lot for a horse. With all that talking, you'd think he'd get horse.

Here’s a good stress reliever. Try and take your cat for a walk.

Our 20 year old Max was the sweetest and most placid cat I've ever had.

DD taught him how to go for a wee bit of a walkabout.

ETA - The collar and leash is a hand me down from our little black and tan Dachshund "Rudi".

I always thought Max was Rudi reincarnated. Both were such good little boys.

The building stress of watching the nation unravel is the primary reason I dumped social media permanently. It's not that I was arguing with anyone, but just reading some of the stupid out there was getting to be too much for me. It was a good choice, and has helped me reduce my stress level.

That being said, I was doing a casual inventory of the safe today, and was checking over my body armor when the realization of what I was doing hit me kinda hard. Still can't totally wrap my head around the fact that this is where we're headed. No matter. I will stand to protect my family and my nation because it must be done. My oath has not expired.

Just hope the fish don’t bother you.

Tried that with Daniel. He immediately became one with the grass and wouldn’t budge.

Just posted on the "Portland: War Zone" thread by DD:

On the way home I saw an old lady screaming at a parking meter.

So it's definitely not just us. No comfort I know, but...

That's why we all have to stay in Condition Orange all the time now. And that's very draining over time.

Would I be weirder to admit that I'm looking forward to the real craziness that's going to be happening at the end of the year.

Watch MSM makes me crazy, cut that out and smoke a few CBD cannabis cigarettes and now looking forward, bring it.

Now I'm going to say it...

You'll a bunch of plumb crazy folks, posting for years on survivalist websites and stacking shit.

Now I'll just exit....
