In da olde days, every woman had a sign on her that said "Not Available". And if one made a move on one of them and got belted into the middle of next week (metaphor there) one was not really surprised or frustrated; "I sure misjudged that one" and went on from there.

Today's woman sign is "Available". Our boy makes a move on her and is belted into next week. And he takes that as a personal insult because the woman looked 'available'. Thus the genesis of the Uncel as he is turned down every time even though to him every woman looked 'available'. Very frustrating.

All this time I thought it was because they are eating too many soy products.

Title 9 Kangaroo Courts did a lot of damage to the young men of our nation in the colleges. The accusation from any female was sufficient to ruin his college career, his future earnings, his life and there was no recourse. None. Called in, told that there had been a sexual harassment complaint from some unnamed female and he had no right to appeal, no right to face his accuser, no rights at all. If he was lucky, he got a verbal whiplash and was allowed to stay on campus and pursue his studies. If he was unlucky, he was banned from the campus and told he would be arrested for any incursion onto the campus.

I know this because it happened to my son. I know this because in attempting to hire a lawyer for him, we were told there was nothing any lawyer could do at any price. The accusation was sufficient and the university was a law unto itself and in this case backed by Title 9. In exploring this issue, I became aware of the horror stories from all over the USofA. I am told that some action has now been taken to stop this nightmare but the effects are going to last a long time.

Young men on campus and by social media extension learned to avoid women totally. They learned that no matter how innocent the contact, if any accusation was made, they were done.

And young women wonder why young men avoid them. When accusation equals guilt and ruin, this is the result.

That's a tragic story and definitely one important piece of the puzzle, I think. This is what took us to PoundMeToo which has inevitably been exposed as the execrable hypocrisy it always was founded upon - charlatans like Weinstein and Weiner notwithstanding as they seem to be pretty much pond scum anyways.

I think another piece of this puzzle is asceticism arising from religious zealotry and devoting oneself entirely to the cause - hallmark of fanaticism through the ages (with notable exception, as Churchill wrote, of the Mohammedans). But the fanatic zealotry I refer to is the adherence to the radical new religions of climate change, social justice, communism "done right this time", etc. as well as the older ones of evolution - which require more faith than anything - and so-called "science" without acknowledging the Source of all truth in this universe we inhabit.

Plain and simple fact if the matter is women in today's world are retarded. They don't know what gender or race they belong with. Most prefer other women or chimps.

Excellent point! I have been arguing for years that the Dean of Students at Freshmen Orientation should address the men thusly.

"...The women on this campus are ladies. Ladies do not engage in sexual relations outside the marriage covenant. There is no such thing as consensual sex on this campus. Any sexual activity will be considered rape or attempted rape. ..."

That should make it very clear.

Since I was a kid ...1980s, ymen have been raised to be more sensitive, passive and with WEAK male role models. Woman think that they want a soft man in touch with his feminie side, but everytime they meet one he gets "friendzoned" because she thinks hes not attractive but keeps the guy around as a "Friend" in case she needs something.
The soft man then tries harder to prove that is worthy of her love, he buys her things and does her chores, all while watching her date other men. All while he grows angry and bitter that she wont date him, after all he deserves her he did everything disney movies say he should. Eventually their "friendship" ends and he will meet another girl, get friendzoned and the cycle repeats. Women want to date/sleepwith/marry manly men, even while they campaign against toxic masculinity.
I have watched this happen to countless guys Ive worked with. Its super sad, most are so sensitive to rejection they wont even talk to a girl .

It's a horrible situation that the radical feminist have put young men in, it's true. However, on the other side of that coin many of these so called "incels" have an entitlement issue where they believe they deserve a relationship with a woman who looks a certain way. Our society is profoundly sick and to lay to blame at the feet of any one sex, race, creed, etc., only adds to the illness not the cure.

LOL! Funny but somewhat true. My own son tells me a similar story. He asked a girl out once at university. Turned out she was looking for a lesbian experience(to explore that side of herself). Well, given that school I don't doubt it. He's pretty much vowed to concentrate on his stuff and forget women now. I see it a lot with older kids. Kids in their mid to late 20s don't care about relationships because it's hard to find a non-crazy girl. I fear for this generation. I really do.

In my day, and I sound like an old codger by saying that, in my culture, you went to college, went on a mission, then returned looking for a bride. That's what I did. That was what I was advised to do, too. Plenty of solid god-fearing women there in those days. I picked a peach for sure(or she picked me). Been blessed with the best wife for 37 years now.

On another thread here on TB2K, one major factor seemed to be that the best looking, wealthiest and most powerful guys were getting all the girls. Something to do with the “swipe left/right” thing on social media.

Also, I do not know about now, but the thinking used to be “if you have not been turned down 10 times today, you are not really trying”. Maybe guys now have some sort of romantic notion of dating, rather than treating it as a “numbers game”.

OK, as long as he ALSO adds that any apparently consensual (e.g., doesn't result in a rape conviction when reported) nonmarital sexual activity by campus females (faculty and staff, not just students) proves them to be harlots, and they are thereafter under lifetime bans from campus. Fair is fair.

Except that A) most sub-alpha (esp. sub-beta) men are having a tough time even getting married during their whole lives, and B) most of those are going to effectively be deadbedded as soon as their supposed wife has had all the kids she has calculated she needs for post-frivorce child support. That is NOT God's plan for marriage, closer to its opposite.

The old saying goes that no one who has $50 is truly an incel. Because if they had said $50, they could simply contract the job done.

Such contracting has its own risks, including contracting something else, of course. At any rate, the line between "voluntary" and "involuntary" is shockingly thin.

Having Grandchildren that are just at entry to college age, I am so thankful that their parents have done a great job of training them up so far. But my worry is that the oldest grandchild starts college this fall and the next one next year.

They've both handled the boy girl thing through High School, both are conservatives Christians and seem to be thinking with only the large gland at the top of their neck, but with the pressure of the indoctrination they will be facing and the craziness of 101 genders, Feminazis and the rest of this crap, I more worried and pray even more now than ever.

Based upon some of the stuff I see while working on Colleges campuses makes you understand why guy's aren't willing to take the risk until they move on into the real world and are ready to settle down. Some of these "females" on campus today are law suits waiting to happen.

My question is, what is to be the crisis du jour for the coming week?

I think there are a few things going on here. It used to be if you were the village idiot or bitter town creeper, and couldn't get a girl you assumed it was your own problem and got on with life (or didn't) by yourself. These days you have the internet and all these "incel" guys can get together and moan about it together. They look like a large group or movement but in reality they are just a bunch of lone village idiots getting together online.

Add to that an unhealthy dose of rampant internet porn and general social awkwardness and you have a recipe for what we are reading about in this thread. I have known people like this and no woman in her right mind would touch them with a 20 foot pole with that kind of thinking.

I really think it has to do less about leftists, "me too" or feminism and more to do with entitled, porn-addicted man-children with an unhealthy idea of what women should be giving them.

WOW! Sooth, I am so sorry to hear this! I know what you say is true as I have a son in university as well. I was also in college within the past few years and had a class that involved learning about Title IV. I guess "innocent until proven guilty" does not matter in colleges/universities. It is unfair to males that females are allowed this way out...but this doesn't apply to guys. This is used against guys as revenge when things do not go the girl's way afterward. On occasion, the girl's story seems absolutely true. It is unimaginable that a vindictive girl can completely ruin a guy's life/future by one false allegation made in college. Sooth, I pray that darkness comes to light and justice is received by your son and his accuser!

*The way college girls dress these days leaves nothing to the poor guys imaginations. If in doubt, all one has to do is look at social media accounts of college girls and their friends...

What is one to think?

Back in 1967 (Good Grief! over 50 yrs ago) I was visiting a professor I had known back when he was a grad student. WWII Vet, machine gunner, 10th Mt division, Italian Campaign, shot up good enough to qualify for partial disability. Had a certain 'air' about him that made him kind of stand out.

He says I don't know what is going on but I am starting to get women in my classes who's body language leads me to believe that all I have to do is say "Let's" and they would drop their knickers and beat me to the floor.

A few years later, I am reading an article about the Pres of a graduating class in the DC area. He made the claim that he could count the virgins in his class on the fingers of his hands and they were running around trying to get laid because starting college as a virgin was unacceptable.

So we have the Uncel who is totally socially inept and he is swimming through this culture. If he were not so socially inept, he would know better. But he is and he doesn't. So we have a new class, the Uncel.
A class that did not exist 70 years ago. Something changed.

Well we all had that one "uncle" that everyone made fun of when he wasn't around, and yes he was an incel. Troke just thinks it's a new thing when in fact it's not. Radar on MASH, typical incel. What's his nuts that played the deputy on the Mayberry show, incel, so on and so forth. They've always been there, it's nothing new other than they can now gather together on facebook or fetlife and bitch because some gorgeous hot babe won't have anything to do with them.

Meanwhile, these guys never seem to notice (until it is too late sometimes) the shy, retiring, average looking girl (I'm not talking about buzzed hair cuts or weighing 500 pounds) just average (like most of the Incels) sitting behind them in class, the library or another table looking longingly at them.

By the time these guys usually do notice these women (if they even ever do), they are usually already either already married or decided to devote themselves to a career.

These are often some of the same young women who TURN DOWN, Mr. "Full of Himself" former "Hot Guy on Campus" who decided now that he's ready to settle down he needs a: cook, maid, Mommy and Mother to his precious heirs and having burned through all the "glamor girls" he thinks "you" will do just fine.

Both groups can turn into bitter Incels (and that was as true in 1975 or according to my Mom 1954 as it is now).

Today, however, if they can't get "something" they can complain about women all day to their buddies on the net, whereas Uncle Uncel usually only had a few fishing buddies to emote with (most of whom were married).

And both former "Mr. Hot Stuff" and "Mr. Nobody Lubs Me," can end up angry, divorced and miserable if they are unlucky enough to actually "catch" one of the more vapid young women (beautiful women can be wonderful people, but you know the type I mean) and then are surprised when they get taken to the cleaners, lose the kids and yes, are often unfairly treated by the courts and bankrupted.

I've seen this happen even more often with men from both groups who decide to fly to the Ukraine, Russia, Asia or whatever and marry a "real woman," who isn't "spoiled" by "Feminazis" or whatever and "knows how to treat a man."

While sometimes these marriages just work out fine, very often the lady knows just how to treat him, as soon as she gets her American, Canadian, or European Passport.

Sadly, a lot of Uncle Uncle's try to solve their problems this way, some do it two or three times...just ask the folks that run the "brides" tours (during normal times).
