Seattle's CHOP Just Cost The City A Billion Dollar Company

Well, who didn’t see this coming?

Coronavirus pandemic or not, an investment advisory company is leaving the cultural unrest in Seattle and moving its headquarters to Phoenix’s Camelback Corridor.
” … The unrest that has taken place in the city of Seattle … there is really is not a downtown business community today,” Smead Capital Management, President and CEO Cole Smead told KTAR News 92.3 FM.
Mayor Jenny Durkan has allowed and encouraged an unelected mob to take over and militarize several blocks of downtown Seattle. A man has died because of this. A deaf woman was reportedly sexually assaulted because of this. About 30,000 Seattle residents are now subjected to CHOP’s mob rule and they live in fear of criticizing it. Media are controlled. It’s a segregationist enclave, albeit one that is dependent on the benevolence of the surrounding nation it despises.
CHOP cannot feed itself or power its connection to Reddit. But it can and has killed jobs.

Mayor Durkan is killing Seattle.
“We’re hearing rumors of 40-story buildings that will be only 20-percent occupied by October,” Smead said.
Some of that will be companies allowing employees to continue working at home. Some of that will be companies leaving, taking the taxes they and their employees pay wherever they go.

They will go where they deem the environment conducive to business and safe for its people. Blue cities are become less safe for people and more hostile to businesses by the day.

It’s as if leftists cannot be taught even by obvious and recent examples. Or they’re killing their cities intentionally.

Hundreds ‘ambush’ Tampa police responding to report of shots fired, 2 officers injured, chief says

Two Tampa police officers were injured early Saturday after a crowd of hundreds surrounded a group of officers in an "ambush," the Tampa police chief said.

Officers were responding to a report of shots fired and a possible gunshot victim at an intersection near the Ybor City neighborhood around 1 a.m., Chief Brian Duggan told reporters Monday. A crowd of hundreds was at the scene when police arrived.

WASHINGTON DC COPS KEEP THEIR COOL WHILE PROTESTERS TAUNT, PROVOKE THEM IN VIRAL VIDEO

As offices searched for a possible victim, Duggan said the hundreds of people blocked all four ends of the intersection and became aggressive. The crowd surrounded officers, threw bottles and glass, and jumped on a police vehicle. Officers could not locate a victim.

"It's an ambush. I have no other way to describe it,” Duggan said. “When there are that many people out there and clearly no one had been shot. It was just a set up to get the cops there."

One officer was hit in the head with an object and suffered a small laceration and swelling, police said. The officer was treated and released from the hospital. A second officer who was hit in the head with a glass bottle is also expected to be OK.

Aerial footage from the scene shows a crowd surrounding officers at an intersection and officials can be heard over audio saying that an officer had been struck with a bottle. At one point, a large group of the crowd can be seen running away down the street.

Duggan said that the crowd threw bottles and glass at police, injuring two officers.

“There were hundreds of them,” Dugan said, referring to the crowd. “Hundreds. We actually ended up having to call every single police officer that was available that night to respond there, from New Tampa to South Tampa.”

Duggan said that over 100 officers responded to the scene. One person was arrested.

FLORIDA MAYORS VOW STRICTER CORONAVIRUS RULES AS CASES SPIKE

Responding to a question on department morale during this time of heightened anti-police sentiment, Duggan said the pressure currently on police officers is “incredible.”

“Just by doing your job, whether you’re right or wrong, it doesn’t matter right now,” he said. “No one is listening. Any justified action is getting twisted.”

The chief called on residents to “step up and support their cops.”

If the title is true, then there should have been many many dead and dying protesters.
Or should the title have been much different?

This was a common occurrence even back in the 1990's in the black housing projects. They would pile up over 100 deep on a street, blocking in those who lived on the road and were not involved in the party. The residents would get tired of it and call the cops, usually making a fake claim like someone shot to get the highest response.

When we got there they started throwing bottles at us and the residents came out of their homes throwing still cold, 1/2 eaten jars of jelly and anything else they could find made of glass. Even the people who called us would come out and throw things at us to be part of the tribe.

You do not need to GTR in 100% of these situations.

What's wrong with this picture???

Hmmm. Hundreds or thousands of criminal rioters. An ambush attack on police officers, with two wounded and unstated property damage. One hundred officers responded and there is one arrest.

ONE ARREST?????

Are you effing kidding me? This is why the rioting has gotten out of hand across the country: There are no consequences and the leftist scumbags know it. The cities are effectively issuing invitations to their miscreants to riot, loot, burn and attack the police.

If the police cannot do their job then why are they still paid?
Maybe the "defund the police" is the correct idea. Let the large city police departments all dissolve and have no police for a while. Then if residents demand the police come back let them know what has to be done and see if the residents still want the police to return. The situation we have now is stupid and unsustainable.

You kinda skipped a step in that chain.

Police do the bidding of the mayor.

Mayors are elected by citizens who are impacted by this crap.

We'll see what the people think, fairly soon.

I knew that when I posted. And the people vote in different mayors now and then but mostly nothing changes. If you want a big change then it must be after a big event to get that change. Like having no police for a while.

Consider,

Police are the security for mayors and politicians.
Police are currently their security but there are other options. I have no doubts that no matter what happens, those in charge will make sure that they have security.
Like I said above, what is happening now is not sustainable. And yes people in these big cities can and will vote in different people. But they will still vote in very similar people, so no real change.
People have to suffer to get them to change. So far most people have just been inconvenienced so I expect no changes.

Seattle wants to dismantle 'CHOP' zone and return police to East Precinct
•Jun 22, 2020
KING 5
Seattle Mayor Jenny Durkan and Police Chief Carmen Best said officers will return to the East Precinct in the 'near future' but did not present an exact timeline.

Seattle leaders and some members of the CHOP movement said recent violence is detracting from their message for racial equity and police reform.

Mayor Durkan and Police Chief Carmen Best announced Monday the city's intention to dismantle the CHOP zone and return officers to the East Precinct.

City officials have not outlined the plan for dismantling the CHOP zone but said there could be an overnight disperse order that would be enforced by community partners and not the police.

Where are the fabled FEMA camps?

Need to snatch these maggots up and process them somewhere far away from home.

Middle of Death Valley sounds good.

Contract it, maybe Arpaio Corrections Corporation?

Offshore would even be better.
FEMA camps can and will be built in a matter of days if/when they are needed. There was never any reason to have them sit idle for decades while being maintained and photographed. When the dems get back in power then can build them in a couple of days when they are ready to fill them, but the maggots you speak of will be running the camps.

They Tried To Warn Us - Lost Video From 1984 (RT 9:40)

Malcom X describes the dangerous "white liberal" and their use of "American Negro" as a "political football". I believe you would agree that is what we are seeing on the streets of AMERICA RIGHT NOW. and a KGB defector describing - in 1984 - the 4 stages of Marxist Leninist ideological subversion leading to the destruction of our nation from within.
