CRIME Atlanta cop charged with murder (Atlanta cops resigning)

That guy was shot twice in the back as he was running away.

Say what you will, that's NOT self-defense!

That's murder, or manslaughter and that cop should spend a lot of time behind bars.

A fired taser in the hands of someone RUNNING AWAY is NOT a deadly threat that warrants death to the perp. If cops can't control their fire then they need to leave the force.

We have been told that these days would be on us. Jesus said we will see ethnic wars in the end days, among other things we are already experiencing.
It was a good shoot.

Hmm...........could it be that most of these protests are coming mostly from the organized and funded left rather than the any organic resolve by the citizens in the area they occur?............if Atlanta isn't burning maybe because they don't have the people to ship there to ignite the spark but are headed to Tulsa instead?

If this is true then the organized left is far smaller than thought...........and they aren't interested in BLM unless it helps them to go after Trump.

The protests were orchestrated by outside operators, not local citizens. When King was killed, the US burnt from one end to another. But not Atlanta. When the bussing thing was going on in '73 same thing-but not Atlanta. None of the Atlanta riots happened in Sweet Auburn (Auburn Av-the black "heart" of Atlanta) or other black home fields/areas in the town.
Even in the early 60's, Birmingham was known as "Bombingham" from all the back and forth violence-Albany GA was rock and roll, cities all around the town were rock and roll-but not downtown Atl. After the synogogue bombing on Ponce de Leon in Atl in 1959; the town was pretty much declared a fight free zone.
No, there's lots of wannabes there who want to be social justice warriors in a real sense-and of course given the chance will supplement their homes with looting, but they're generally followers, not leaders.
My 2 cents.

Funny thing. I was pulled over a few years ago and told the cop I had a gun in the car. She laughed and said it is Georgia, who doesn't?

She even gave me a warning instead of a ticket.

And LOTS of the Hispanics who live around me ALSO have guns.

Not the durg-lord types of Hispanics---family-folks, mostly construction or landscape workers, with wives and children who attend the local Catholic churches.

I don't mind so much, except that they love to party--and often stay up till 2-3 am with their loud (marachi?) music.

But thank GOD it IS Hispanics---and not blacks. Hispanics and blacks don't get along too well---so if the hordes came here---well, I think the Hispanic daddies would be DEFENDING their wives, homes, and families.

At least THEY have not been emasculated yet...

Below from a Jorden Peterson video. This explains a lot of the skinny jean wearing woke meow men getting in on mob activity and living a perpetual state of hate and being offended.

People who are capable of using force and do not are in a proper moral position. Most morality is cowardliness. Not that morality is cowardly, but most cowards disguise their cowardliness as morality.

Cowards claim that their harmlessness, that comes from their fear and inability to be harmful or dangerous, is a sign of their moral integrity. Cowardliness leads to suffering, that leads to bitterness. Bitterness leads to resentfulness that leads to vengefulness.

Listening in to the zone 6 atlanta police dispatch - considerably more messages going back and forth tonight; but doesn't sound busy.

So what happened yesterday? Where was the promised chaos?

Has it been dropped down the memory hole already?

Also, anyone have any reports of the Blue Flu tonight?

Per FOX, APD was still shorthanded and had to ask for assistance on some 911 calls but real or not, the other areas replied they were also shortstaffed (at least on the one audio they played).

The city reached out to the outlying communities for help, they were refused.
To be as effective as the unruly ones this blue protest has to continue.
I have seen it, No excuse me we have seen it time and time again the conservative side finally gets the gumption to make a stand and they do, for one day ,a few hours then say"that'll show them" then pack up and get back to work, if you will notice there is not the same alarm and coverage coming from the MSM and the cities .
Unfortunately this slowdown is not going to work until the pain is felt all the way down to the voting resident level. Right now all the offalicals and residents will do is sigh and say"wow we got thru that" THEY HAVE NOT LEARNED A LESSON!
The city has grabbed this bobcat by the ears!

Uh, you might want to give anything connect to that man a complete miss. He's got some MAJOR issues, which I won't bring up here to avoid thread drift.

70 Atlanta Cops Have Resigned After Officer Rolfe Faces Murder Charge, Dept. Is 60% Black

Rayshard Brooks didn’t have to be six feet under the ground, right now. He chose to get shot, essentially. You can’t be drunk, resist arrest, fight with cops, grab a taser to use as a weapon and then expect to sleep in your own bed that night.
It just doesn’t add up.
Now that Officer Garrett Rolfe has been charged with murder (how ridiculous!), some of his peers have decided to call in quits in a show of solidarity.

Do not believe the ATL mayor or CNN .... they asked for help from other jurisdictions and they all said no. The dispatchers just all walked out.

Just got confirmation... APD is still silent. Chiefs are freaking out. Your voices are being heard. We will not be your political pawns. Ever. For 20 years my family has sacrificed everything to make the City of ATL better. We have zero leadership.

Did you know that 60% of APD is African American? Do you honestly think they would be standing by their fellow officers if this was a race issue? No! Many of us condemned what happened to George Floyd. This is not the same. It’s all political

From Star Tribune:
ATLANTA — Atlanta police officers called out sick Thursday to protest the filing of murder charges against an officer who shot a man in the back, while the interim chief acknowledged members of the force feel abandoned amid protests demanding massive changes to policing.
Interim Chief Rodney Bryant told The Associated Press in an interview that the sick calls began Wednesday night and continued Thursday, but said the department has sufficient staff to protect the city. It’s not clear how many officers have called out.
“Some are angry. Some are fearful. Some are confused on what we do in this space. Some may feel abandoned,” Bryant said of the officers. “But we are there to assure them that we will continue to move forward and get through this.”

As long as those in positions of authority care not one wit, about those whom they "serve," let alone those that represent them, corruption and incompetence will flourish. The lack of desire to "throw the rascals out," is endemic to the malaise that afflicts the American psyche. Until Americans take responsibility for their actions/inactions, the downward spiral towards society's/civilization's end will continue to accelerate, to self immolation. The tipping point has already passed the place of no return. All that remains, is to see if there can be a softer landing, rather than augering into a smoking crater, from which survivors will be few...

Individuals, families, and even communities can affect, direct, and help shape some small segment of Universe, or destiny. After all, the future is not yet cast in stone- that's history's place. Work together to make your lives better. Leave hate and discontent to those who have no future. Decide who you will be amongst- the living or the dead.

Have a nice weekend,

When the dust settles, you won't have local police.
Probably won't have Governors or Mayors either.
Just territorial districts supervised by government contractors
The mercs with the lowest bid

It would revert to pre-statehood conditions with an appointed governor via the President, federal courts handling everything and US Marshals being the primary law enforcement with possibly county Sheriff's Offices. That would be the best of such an outcome.

It would follow the organization of the TSA. Time tested RINO approved

No, there was no pre arranged paid instigators ready to react to no police.

if there are no police, they have achieved their goal

Or at least one step closer...

If they can do it in enough places, then they can get to the next step in their goal. Ask yourself why we have seen a few different protesters (Antifa/BLM) flying fairly good sized Uncle Nancy Flags? Why did the attorney For George Floyd’s Family Appeals To U.N. To Intervene In Case? Why have we heard others in the news talk about wanting them involved lately?

Remember the talk 4-5 years ago about "The Kigali Principles"?

Here are some tidbits:
EO# 13732 (July 1, 2016) "United States Policy on Pre- and Post-Strike Measures to Address Civilian Casualties in U.S. Operations Involving the Use of Force"
Referencing the just signed: UN Protection of Civilians Mandate (POCM)

But an interesting reference

U.S. approves UN use of force to protect civilians in conflict
May 11, 2016

1-2 minutes

UNITED NATIONS — The United States has announced its support for a set of principles that give a green light for U.N. peacekeeping troops and police to use force to protect civilians in armed conflicts.

U.S. Ambassador Samantha Power told a high-level U.N. meeting Wednesday focusing on the responsibility to protect civilians that the United States was "proud" and "humbled" to join 28 other countries that have pledged to abide by the 18 pledges.

U.N. peacekeepers from these 29 countries are now required to act in cases where civilians are in danger.

"The Kigali Principles are designed to make sure that civilians are not abandoned by the international community again," she said, recalling how U.N. peacekeepers left Rwanda before the 1994 genocide and Srebrenica before the 1995 massacre.

Interesting that the story broke two months BEFORE the signing of the mandate or the EO...

That was because the deal started as a series of security council resolutions back in 2006-2009.

And the 18 Pledges? I have found NUMEROUS references to pledges to follow UN rules, mandates, and "laws", like this set: (hxxps://www.un.org/ruleoflaw/files/Pledges%20by%20the%20United%20States%20of%20America.pdf). But nothing that references the UN POCM...

I'm getting the feeling that summer is going to get a lot hotter than expected...
