I found some blast-from-the-past prepping books. They can be read online or downloaded in multiple document formats including pdf.

Esther Dickey - Passport to Survival 1969
This book seriously explores using wheat, powdered milk, salt, and honey as the basis for long term food storage.

Mel Tappan - Tappan's Survival Guide 1981

Mel Tappan - Survival Guns 1977

EDIT: found another

Captain Dave's - Survival Guide

There is a web version of this online that is newer than the printed/scanned one at archive.org in the link above.

There are many of the older interesting books like seen at gunshows years ago.
Also, most of what Kurt Saxon put out is there.

EDIT: if you want to go down the rabbit hole and do intense book searches, the following links are a good start for firearms/survival types books:
Folkscanomy: Prepper and Survivalist Books : Free Texts : Free Download, Borrow and Streaming : Internet Archive
Folkscanomy: Self-Defense : Free Texts : Free Download, Borrow and Streaming : Internet Archive

A link for many technical, chemical, science, Kurt Saxon, firearms, etc: https://archive.org/details/@the_mad_wizard?sort=-downloads

Several years ago I purchased some of the Esther Dickey related books. Although I lost so many books in katrina, I did replace quite a few. One that I particularly like is "Country Beans" by Rita Bingham, Its a 196 pages and is all about eating beans. These books are priceless when it comes to prepping. Peggy Lipton also has books about prepping.

If you run across something from/called the greenpages, that breaks down differing drugs, their dosages, indicator & contraindicators etc per condition, please bring it to my attention.

And as always, thank you greatly for all the positive contributions you bring to this site!!!
