Why?

To keep the US from unloading on their ass, while we are pissing off every other musloid east of Boston?

Are they suddenly worried that Trump will let the country know how bad they have backstabbed the US.

ETA: Maybe Trump will make him wait in the laundry room for 2 hours, then meet him with a DILLIGAF hat on.

It was said that Iran would have functional nukes in two years....10 years ago.

To think that they don't is sheer stupidity.

There was some conjecture that Li'lKimmie's nuke tests were actually Iranian devices or some kind of joint effort.

And did Iran supply NK, let Lil Kimmie build them and test them, and received return shipment.

I agree that Iran probably already has them. The question is, are they mid-range or do they possibly have some that are longer range? I believe that some of NKs are longer range. And how many of their sleeper cells may have suitcase nukes here in CONUS?

From what I gather, they are nowhere near the "suitcase" level of tech. At least when it comes to home rolled nukes.

Replace, Iran with Pakistan in that sentence and you are closer to the truth...

What does Pakistan have that keeps them viable? Nuclear capability...

Now, who have they exported that knowledge to?

Answer: Anyone that can pay ( Iran, Saudi Arabia, North Korea, etc )

Those Iranian Militias are either about to start something or are disbursing to reduce casualties from the response to Irans planned attacks.

Soleimani's daughter warns families of U.S. troops, 'waiting' for their death

Published 1 hour ago

The daughter of slain Iranian Gen. Qassem Soleimani warned the families of U.S. soldiers deployed in the Middle East that they "will spend their days waiting for the death of their children" during the funeral Monday in Tehran.
While speaking to a vast crowd at Enqelab-e-Eslami (Islamic Revolution) square, Soleimani's daughter, Zeinab, directly threatened an attack on the U.S. military in the region, following an increase in tensions between Tehran and Washington.

"Families of the American soldiers in western Asia have witnessed America's humiliation in Syria, Iraq, Lebanon, Afghanistan, Yemen and Palestine wars, and will spend their days waiting for the death of their children," she said in Farsi, which was translated by the Associated Press.

During the funeral, Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei -- who had a close relationship with Soleimani -- wept and prayed over his casket and the caskets of others killed during traditional Muslim prayers for the dead.

Esmail Ghaani, the general replacing Soleimani reportedly stood near Khamenei during the funeral. Iranian President Hassan Rouhbaani and other top leaders within the Islamic Republic were also in attendance.

Demonstrators unfurled red Shiite flags, which traditionally symbolize both the spilled blood of someone unjustly killed and a call for vengeance.

The processions mark the first time Iran honored a single man with a multi-city ceremony. Not even Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini, who founded the Islamic Republic, received such a processional with his death in 1989. Soleimani on Monday will lie in state at Tehran’s famed Musalla mosque as the revolutionary leader did before him.

Soleimani will be buried in his hometown of Kerman.

That is the generally accepted way in most tech pubs and white papers - trouble is, particularly on a fast-moving discussion thread, a reader may inadvertently skip some acronym definitions, leaving the reader viewing acronyms further down the thread, past the original definitions, and not knowing exactly what they are reading - problem is unique to the format of an electronic discussion/response that has many replies - and unlike tech manual/white paper format, which is designed to informatively present each paragraph/page as ideas building upon earlier ideas, with the overall format discussion moving in a linear method/progression - later ideas building upon earlier terms/paragraphs - discussion threads are not fully linear by their very nature - skipping through without close reading is not untypical by many readers - myself, included.

Totally understand your comments and I agree that this format is more of a challenge to pull everything together, but the whole idea is communication and there is no communication if people are talking in different languages like acronyms.
If the acronym is defined somewhere in the thread you could search for it. If it is defined the first time it is used there would be fewer people posting "what does that mean?" Maybe I'm wrong. Things move a lot faster today and it is tough to keep up. I don't think it it necessary to define some of the dumb, text English that is being used today like "ur" or "lol" because most of those you can type into a search engine and figure them out even if they are a bit obscure. The military and/or government acronyms used are normally carrying most of the meaning in the post so without understanding them you lose much of the information that is being communicated. Just saying this hoping that posters may try to help some of the other "out of the military/government loop" people better understand their post.

There really is no reason not to address multiple threats simultaneously. If they are in coordinated action, and I believe they are, a simultaneous takedown is imperative.
Our president has shown that he can multitask and he can use several unrelated actions to accomplish an overall goal.

When I told Nightwolf about what was going on, his first repose as I have already mentioned was to be concerned that it would be an excuse to "allow" someone to take out Trump and then take the blame.

My first comment was, however, "I guess we find out now if Iran either has made or bought nukes or not?"

And of course, they want them, pretty much all third world countries with ambitions or enemies do - the US/Western taught the world an unintended lesson (at least I think it was unintentional) of what happens to dictators/countries who voluntarily give up their nuclear programs in exchange for "protection."

They get what Qadaffi got in Lybia which could be translated as "took it up the you know where" but that's as far as I'll go and still stay moderately polite.

Little Kim, Pakistan and even India instead get treated with kid gloves because well, they can blow a lot of folks up if they get mad enough and are willing to risk their own populations (and a lot of dictators or authoritarian regimes will.

I am not suggesting that Iran getting nukes is a good thing (or Saudi for that matter) just that short of being blown into a glass parking lot first, it very well likely be a "thing."

After what happened to Qadaffi, no one in their right mind is going to really trust any promises of protection at least not in the short term and not in that part of the world.

I am aware the situation in Libya was complex and that Qadaffi was not a nice man and that it wasn't directly US troops that did him it, but that isn't the way a lot of folks in the Middle East/third world look at it.

Anyway, I am now caught up with this thread, the funeral in Tehran is mostly over and the final leg I believe is in Qom tomorrow, after that, I suspect things may heat up fast if they don't before.

Oh and sky news reported at least 5 million folks attending the funeral, I'm sure it wasn't all voluntary and I would expect most men as few women and children go to public funerals in the Middle East (at least in normal situations).

Like the 24 hour burial thing it is a tradition but not mandatory that women always stay away, they just usually do.

Iraq’s prime minister needs to ask the Uighurs how that’s working out for them, having China provide security for the Muslim population.
